It all started right back at the beginning of comprehensive, well a little before that! The fourth of July, 2007, I think, it was induction day at my school, GreenWood, in a place called Stevenage, near London. We were put into different groups and mixed with children from other schools, of course, some from my school was still there. I was with my friend Katie, and we sat in our first induction class, English. What a bore, I hate English as it is! Someone from sixform walked in and took a register, she would be taking us round for the day. 'Jenifer?' 'Here!' 'Dylan?' 'Ye!' And so on, until she got to the name William, she said his name, awaiting a reply, but no answer. She repeated the name about three times, and just as she was about to move on, him and his lanky friend Jack stumbled in. 'Sorry, erm Miss, we got, em, lost,' he said walking in. He was georgous, I mean not like Zac Efron but he was good looking non the less. He seemed quiet, but, fun. Me on the other hand was the complete oppersit, I was loud and well, I could be annoying! But all day, everyday until we got back to school, he was in my mind.
First day of year seven, he was still on my mind as I walked to my tutor, and his friend Jack was there. 'Great,' I thought to myself, 'I get the bad one!' I sat next to Katie, and this other girl I knew called Demi, and there were three other girls. Abbey and Emily, who were bestfriends, and Robin, who seemed about gothy, but she was nice! We stayed in tutor until the end of the fourth lesson, and then we had to go to lessons, and what did I have? Double P.E! Great! -Not! On the way down to P.E I saw him, but I had to go line up, so I didnt get a chance to talk! Erg, worst first day ever, well what I thought!
My second day, was supprising however, first lesson, Maths. I loved/love Maths! Mr Lakin seemed fun, but he put us alphabetical order, boy girl, boy girl. It was bad enough no-one from my primary was in my class, now I have to be next to, what seems like two idiot boys. I looked across the classroom, and he was stood there. William! I didn't know his last name, but I knew it was him! 'Right Smith, Jessica Smith, on the left, and Smallwood, William Smallwood, right there on the right please, and Olivia Snowden..' WHAT! I was next to him, of course Im not going to tell him, he's been on my mind for th past 6 weeks, but you know, oh my gosh! 'Hi, are you any good at maths, because well, Im terrible..?' He said with a chuckle, I smiled and said 'Im okay, haha, not the best.' We both laughed and just spoke about things in genral, music, names, ages, birthdays, you know, get to know you things. We carried on our conversation throughout the next lesson, as again we were next to each other! We spent everyday together, and we were really close. By the end of the first half term, he was my bestfriend, and of course, my friends from Primary didn't like him, but who cares, he was my bestfriend!
