Chapter 8

My p.o.v.

Its been five to six years after Phillip was born and he looks so cute, but as he ages his hair gets darker. Elena and Nik had another baby three years after Phillip named Jenna Alexandria Mickealson. Phillip is a momma's boy and Jenna is a daddy's girl.

Elena p.o.v.

I'm twenty four with beautiful kids, a loving family and husband who knows me inside out. I love it here the only thing is I miss my phone, friends, my brother, fast food, and vodka. Still this life is pretty great, but im a bit scared because around this time is where henrik dies and the Mickealson's become the originals. Rebekah at the moment is being courted and she is so excited. As I was thinking I felt someone or two someone's dragging me out of my thoughts "Mommy! Mommy! Mommy!" They kept repeating. I look down to see my angels hugging my leg. "What is it my little Princess and my little Knight want?" I asked "we're hungry" they said in union, did I ever mentioned I learned how to cook. So we go inside our cottage "little princess can you go ask your dad if he's hungry" she nodded happily and skipped towards his drawing studio. "Mommy I want to help you" said my little gentleman I gave him an Eskimo kiss and we walked into the kitchen. Jenna came back and she brought the love of my life with her, I don't know how but I love him more as each day passes. I kissed him and both of our children made gagging noise, I looked at Nik and he knew what I was thinking. We grabbed both of our children and started kissing them all over their faces while they started squealing. This is my happiest moment. After we ate the children left to play, all of a sudden I'm being lifted and carried away "Nik what are you doing?" I squealed at him "we are finally alone and I want to start making our third child" he said as I laughed. He through me on the bed and climbed on top of me.

So tonight we must go to the cave because its a full moon. As we were there I notice something that made almost lose my mind. 'Henrik and Phillip aren't here' "Klaus!!! Klaus!!! I can't find them" everyone came running towards were I was except Henrik and Phillip. "Elena calm down find who?" He said gripping my shoulder "Phillip and Henrik I can't find them" I replied scared out of my wits cause my son and my little brother are know where to be found. "Well find them I promise but please breath" I started breathing and nod. Klaus and the males went somewhere to talk about the options but I couldn't wait I grabbed Elijah and Nik's swords and ran out of the cave looking for them then I heard a moan of pain and saw something that broke me, it was Henrik and he was laying half to death "henrik!!! Henrik!!! Stay awake let's get you back to the cave" I was trying to help him but he pushed me away. "Phillip *coughs blood*...... Save him" and he died after that I couldn't do anything but do what he told me. I mustered all my strength and ran listening for Phil and then I heard crying. I ran towards it to see two werewolves on the verge of attacking him, so I grabbed both swords and threw it into there side which made them fall and gave me a chance to grab Phil and ran. I heard howling and knew it wasn't good but I kept running I put Phil on my back and started going into the water. My dress started to stick to me and made it hard to move but I continued knowing that if I didn't they'd kill us. I swam with Phillip on my back as close as I can to the under water entrance of the cave under the waterfall "Phillip I'm going to as you a big favor hold your breath as long as you can so we can get to the cave under the water ready" he said yes, I counted to three and dived under swimming as fast as I can so he can started to breath oxygen again. It took like 30 seconds but we both made it, I put him on the ground first and dragged myself out, crawling till I was far enough from the water. I grabbed Phillip and hold him close so he can take the remaining heat. I don't know if I'll wake up tomorrow but at least I was able to save him.

Philip p.o.v.

I woke up the next morning and got from under my mom. I started to shake her but she didn't wake up, I shook her a bit harder but still nothing; so I ran out the cave looking for my dad. I ran as fast as I could towards the village till I saw my house "Dad!!! Dad!!!" He walked out the house and ran towards me hugging me tightly "Phillip are you alright? were is your mother?" He asked "I'm okay but mom is in the cave under the water fall I tried to wake her up but she didn't wake up" I said sobbing as my sister came and hugged me. Dad told us to go inside that the rest of the family was inside and that he was going to get our mom. I was so scared because it was my fault mommy had to come to save us. I might be young but I knew that if mom left us our family would never be the same ever again all because of me and my irresponsibility. Mom told me many times never to leave the cave but I didn't listen.
