As we pulled into the driveway i can't seem to stop think about the chestnut haired boy.What was his name? Is he real hair chestnut color or is dye? Did he move he from so foreign place? I started to rethink the last one why would anybody move to California,Winter forest ."hon so who was that boy you seem to stare at" mom asked in her motherly voice i strugged my shoulders i looked down at the gravel my cheeks must have turned pink that gave me a way for sure. I flop on my unmade bed my shoes are in rows moms doing of course i shut my eyes but i saw his face again i woke up to a smell of broccoli and chicken casserole i headed for the stairs takeing them one at a time mom already had my bowl set up in it usual place fill up with casserole. Her eye's seem to wander to his place at the table i know she miss him her face and body had no emotions i made sure i stepped on the creaking stair mom to notarized of my presence jumped out of her emotionless trans.
