"How?" I questioned, watching as Eric started walking across the room towards this table.
"Kat, can I date your brother now?" Claire jokingly asked, causing me to slap her arm.
"No you may not." I spoke, keeping my eyes on Eric as he sat down.
"Well, aren't you going to introduce me?" He asked to Four, motioning to the girls next to him.
"This is Tris and Christina." Four said. "And over there is Kat and Claire."
"Yeah, yeah, I know the two blondes." Eric waved us off.
"Eric don't make me slap you." I spoke up, causing everyone but Claire to go wide eyed.
"Eric, don't make me slap you." He mimicked, causing me to gasp.
"You're just mad I was stronger than you when we were younger." I replied, flipping my hair, leaving Eric speechless.
"I take it you know each other?" Christina joined in.
"Sadly." Eric replied.
"Sadly." I mimicked, rolling my eyes.
"They are related." Claire told them, which seemed like a shock to the girls, and Four.
"If any of you talk to me the way she just did, you will find your head in a wall." Eric quickly said. "Now, Four, Max tells me he keeps trying to meet with you but you won't show up. He wants me to find out why."
"Tell him that I am satisfied with the position I currently hold." Four answered, brushing Eric off.
"Well, let's hope he gets the point then." Eric said, clapping Four's shoulder before walking off.
"I'll be back." I said, getting up and following him. "Eric." I called out. He turned around, smirking.
"Follow me, I'm guessing you want to talk." Eric replied, leading me to a quieter room.
"So, you're a leader now?" I questioned, smirking at him.
"Does it really surprise you, Kat?" He answered, placing emphases on 'Kat.'
"Well you left Erudite looking a lot less built." I said, shrugging.
"So, how did Mom take it when you chose Dauntless?"
"I looked at her face once and I'm pretty sure she hates me now." I explained, causing Eric to laugh.
"You were the last person I thought would switch, except for Claire." Eric said, causing me to laugh now.
"Well here I am, and I'm ready to take after my lame brother." I answered. "Now please show me the way back to the dining hall."
"We'll see about that, sister. I'm not taking it easy on you, if anything I'm going to go harder on you." Eric retorted, leading me back to the dining hall.
"Once an ass, always an ass." I said, rolling my eyes as I met back up with Claire.
"Follow me initiates. I will be showing you wear you will be staying during training." Eric spoke up, leading us all to the dorms.
"This is where you will be sleeping," Eric stated, opening the doors.
"The boys or the girls?" A Candor transfer asked.
"Both," Eric answered, a small smirk on his lips.
An outbreak of mumbles occurred as people started choosing bunk beds. Claire and I managed to get one together, and she chose top. Peter happened to be right across from me, with that one kid, Edward, sleeping on top. A pair of black, skin-tight pants and a black t-shirt rested on the bed, and I knew we were expected to change into it. It honestly didn't bother me, I pulled off my dark blue loose hanging top, placing the black t-shirt on. I then pulled off my white skinny jeans, placing them on the bed.
