I can't go on without you

I stood in front of him. Only inches away, I could have leaned in and our lips would have touched.

The crowd got loud and I stepped back. And walked over to Ellen she was now standing.

"Well thanks Mia for the great show." We cut and I walked off and they sat. I turned, off stage to watch the rest of the show.

"How does it feel learning your the son of Ed Sheeran?" Ellen ask.

"Its definitely weird all through my childhood I just though he left us but it turns out he never really knew."

"So the tour is coming up and I hear you have been invited, any thoughts." Well it hasn't been decied on if I'm going yet or not because I'm not allowed to preform on my own and so the person I wanted to bring with me, well I've been trying to win them over." he looked over at me. It all made sense now.

"Would it be correct to infer this person is Mia." he nodded. "So if you don't mind me asking what if the story there."

"Well we were is the same choir and math class in the 8th grade, about a month before school ended one of my friends informed me that she had a crush on me. I laughed, I know it probably wasn't the right move but what she doesn't know is the reason I did was because I didn't think that someone as beautiful and talented and smart as her could like someone as me. As the year came it an end she began to reseant me. One day I decided enough was enough. And I told her I loved her. I don't really understand what I did but that upset her and the last words she has spoken to me since that were I hate you." Ellen looked at me in shock.

"Well I wish you all the best of luck." she says shaking his hand. He got up and walked towards me.

"What was that." I half yelled.

"The truth. I cant go on without you, please just think about it."

"Done no." he shock his head.

"Mia." he handed me a piece of paper and walked away. I went t throw it away but instead put it in my pocket. I walked off set and got in my car putting my head back. A tour... it would jump start my carrer that's for sure. I started driving about half way home I turned and started driving the other way starting to drive to Uncle Ashtons house. I let myself in and he was sitting on the couch watching football.

"Ash can we talk." he bnoticed my presence and switched off the television.

"Yeah of course whats on your mind." he said walking into the kitchen.

"Remember that guy from the 8th grade?" i asked

"the one you sang with the other night, ed sheerans song one of your best friends in middle school." i nodded and continued my story.

"Well i think he invited me to go on tour," he stopped what he was doing and looked at me. "i mean its not official and i would have to meet the manager and all that Jazz. but i don't know what to do. i came here because you went on tour with my dad and uncle cal and luke and weird uncle micky, but at the time you barely knew them."

"You want my opinion, i think before you even start to think about touring you have to make sure your heart is ready to let him back into your life." i nodded. "then if you decide you are you need a contract or something you and your dad or me or whoever need to go in and talk to someone."

"heart first got it." he smiled and patted me on the back then went and sat back down signaling me to go.

i got home and looked at the number, after what felt like hours i called.

"hello," a man picked up but it wasn't Arron.

"hello i was calling to speak with Arron, do i have the right number." i was ready to hang up shaking of embarrassment.

"Yes you do this is his father Ed, and i have the feeling your Mia." he almost laughed.

"Yes i am. i was just calling to talk to Arron about the tour. But if he's not around ill call back later."

"No he isn't around but how about this, you and your folk meet us at the cheese cake factory for dinner at 6:30 and we will talk all about it. I've been dying to meet you." i agreed and went down stairs to inform my parents my mom isn't much of a cook so she was all for it and my dad loved the cheese cake factory and agreed to but i didn't tell them how we were meeting i just said it was for my career not many questions were asked.

We got there and the waitress said there were waiting for us. My parents were holding hands and walking behind me. We approached the table and I notice Arron, he smiled up at me. Ed Sheeran got up but instead of walking towards me he walked towards my dad.

"Niall Horan. I should have known. Mia Spring name comes from Laura Spring which I presume is you." he said shaking hands with me mother. " he walked up to me and said. "Your father and I were great friends back in his music days. He came on tour with me once right before you were born. And tonight we are here to talk about you coming on tour with me and Arron. Sit please." We all sat and ordered with Ed and my dad talking quite a bit and my mother speaking very little. After we ate a little I was brought into the conversation.

"So down to business." Ed said. "i have a tour coming up and wished my son to be my opening, after speaking with modest (I know he has rocket but for the sack of the story please go along) and they said that he didn't have a strong enough voice to do it alone, he insisted that it be your daughter." My dad nodded.

"Ed you know more than anyone that I didn't want to be in the spot light with Mia. But as the fact that it is her decision. I am thrilled that it would be with you, I trust you with my own life and I'm sure if Mia had known you were as a brother to me she would think of you as a second dad." Ed laughed and I sank it had bothered me that either of them had yet to address my presence.

"We have a meeting set up for you tomorrow is you wanted to sign the contract. She would be away for six months and traveling all over the world." I had to stop them.

"if I may I haven't even decided if I wanted to go." I almost yelled.

"oh but darlin we wouldn't be here if you haded. But if you feel as though you have not you have 24 hours to decide." my father said. No one else spoke at dinner that night.
