The Dream

I woke up at four in the morning, startled. Was what I saw a dream or the future. I know what you're thinking the future well yeah I know. I've always been a bit well I guess a bit omniscient is the word I'll use. I've always been able to tell my friend's thing's that haven't happened yet. Like one time I asked how Allison was feeling after the break-up, and she looked at me all crazy, and was like "what are you talking about!" Five minutes later Jason texted her, and told her he was breaking up with her.

Anyway I think it was a dream since I was sleeping. By the way I'm not crazy or anything it's just I've always wanted something big to happen in this armpit of a town. The last big thing was Stefan Michaels, but we'll get back to him first let's talk about my dream. I fell asleep studying, and I was having my usual dream holding hand's with Stefan Michaels, his bronze hair shining in the sun, his gorgeous smile, with two his two dimples, and sea-green eye's. Eye's that you wanted to stare in forever, and never blink, and his lean yet muscular stance. Stefan was every girl's dream man, and he was my best friend! So we were talking and everything he would smile every so often hold my hand then kiss my hair.

Then my perfect vision of happiness was blurred. It morphed itself into another vision, a scarier dream. All of a sudden this very sick looking old man pop's up. When I say scary it's an understatement. He had long white hair, up until his shoulder's in a ponytail. As well as piercing old man gray eye's with wrinkle's every. However on top of his right eye was a strangely familiar birdlike birthmark, but before I could think about it any further he spoke. Well not spoke but he moved his lip's and I read them. As well of my abilities to lip read go I all I could make out is "You're in danger Charisma." Ha-Ha yeah right I'm in danger of getting a C in Algebra. Then his lip's moved again, and this time he said "Embrace you're destiny, do not fear it welcome it." Yeah I'm ready to go to college alright, and that's all. I wanted to ask the strange old man what he meant, but before I could even say a word he was screaming then I saw a fire surrounding him engulfing him, eating him whole. I couldn't do anything I was frozen. All I could do was listen to his shrieks of Agony. Then I woke up screaming!

I started crying like the stupid girl I was. My drunk mother didn't come to check on me, at all either. Then I got to thinking the reason his birthmark was so familiar was because I had the same one on the back of my right shoulder. Then I heard my familiar ring tone The Fray- Never Say Never. Who was calling me at four in the morning. I checked the caller I.D. It was Stefan.

I almost started Hyperventilating, wait what could he want? "Hello" I said. "Hey, it's Stefan" He said. His husky voice sent shiver's through me. "Hey, Stefan what's up" I said, anxious. Shouldn't I be asking you that I could hear you're screaming from a mile away, did you have a nightmare." He said. To my extreme embarrassment. Oh, did I forget to tell you Stefan live next door to me hear on Prescott St. "Yes, I did" I told him. "Do you want me to come over" He said. I nodded viscously, then remembering he wasn't hear yet! Said "would you please." He laughed. "You do realize if you were anyone else screaming at four A.M. On a Sunday I wouldn't have given a rat's ass!" He said, and I blushed a deep red. "But you're special Ris, really special." He said. I blushed even deeper, Ris was his pet name for me. "Thanks, Stef" I said calling him by my pet name for him. "Ten" was all he said.
