Camp Grounds
"The wind started to pick up strength, which weaved through Rapunzel's hair as she continued throughout the forest." Hannah started gloomily, while illuminating her face with a nearby flashlight. "Her quiet surroundings were only interrupted by her feet, that were placed in purple moccasins, as she walked among the trees. The shuffling noise continues as..." She takes a deep breath, trying to maintain the suspense that she somehow managed to create.
"Go on! Go on!" Isabelle cheered while scrunching her hands into fists and positioning them under her chin. Hannah fulfilled her 9 year old sister's request, deciding to continue.
"she walks on, passing old wanted signs and crushed lanterns. She comes closer to scrutinize the poster to find Flynn, as expected, drawn on the poster. Not to mention the oversized nose, covering most of his face. The remains of lanterns from last years festival were embedded in the soil by her feet. A tear slips out from the corner of her eye, flashbacks starting to appear in her mind, as she looks up at the stars and says, "I know they have taken you Flynn, but I will find you. No matter how long it takes.""
There is a short moment of silence before the tent fills with applause from Isabelle, her Girl Scout friends and Grace, Hanna's twin sister, along with a standing ovation. "Thank you. Thank you." Hanna replies to the cheers, giving a short bow as well.
"Best. Story. Ever!" Annie, one of Isabelle's friend, squeals.
"Totally!" another girl agrees, nodding her head. All of the girls naturally form into a huddle, putting their heads together, followed by childish whispers, gasps and giggling. But, interrupting the little session was Hannah's mom, bringing along her usual "Who wants snacks?!" call. Which is always replied with "I do! I do!"
