Señoria begins warming up by making small purrs and other noises getting her voice ready the piano begins to play and Colita begins singing.

Colita is cut off with a scream and a sand bag falling from the top of the stage. Everyone breaks into a huge panic everyone frantically runs around the stage screaming "HE'S HERE!! HE'S HERE!!! THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA IS HERE!!!"
The Missourí Récita and Missourí Zéle begin yelling around trying to calm them down as soon as Missourí Recita calms them down, the previous owner of the theater steps in and shouts "BOUQÉ! Where is Bouqé!?" GET THAT MAN DOWN HERE THIS INSTANT!"
He turns toward Missourí Récita and Missourí Zéle and begins explaining "Bouqé chief of the flies he must be responsible for this!"
Bouqé enters on the stage and as the old director notices him he timidly goes up to the owner. The owner begins to scold him "For Gods sake Man! What is going on up there!?"
Bouqé shyly begins to speak with his raspy voice "please Missourí don't look at me.... As Gods my witness I was not at my post.... Please Missourí there's no one there. But if there is then it must be a ghost!"
Everyone on the stage begins running around screaming just as before they are calmed down once more by the managers.
"Good heavens I have never known such insolence! Please do us all a favor and shut it!" Missouri Zèle shouts
"Colita theses things do happen you know. A mere accident nothing more" says Missouri Récita
"An accident? An accident!? These.. These things do happen all the time! For the past three year! And what do you know within 3 minutes! These things do happen. Well until you stop these things that are happening then this thing does not happen!" She runs off of the stage in tears with Señor and Missouri Réy following her. Missouri Récita begins speaking
"La Colita will be back"
"You think so Missouri?" Comments Madam Shering
"Yes"
"I have a message sir from the opera ghost" everyone looks at Madam Shering with a bit of confusion and fear. Missouri Zéle steps in "Dear God are you all Obsessed!?"
"He merely welcomes you to his opera house and commands that you continue to leave box 5 empty for his use. And reminds you that his salary is due." Both of the managers start to laugh at this
"Hahahaha his salary?"
"Our previous manager paid him 20 thousand francs a month. Or perhaps you could afford more? With a vi con de son e as your patriot."
"Madam I would have hoped to make that announcement myself" snapped Missouri Récita.
"Will the Vi con be at the performance this evening Missouri?"
"In our box madam. Now who is the understudy for the role?"
The conductor steps in "There is no understudy Missouri the production is new!"
A pause of silence as they all look around and one girls steps in and says "Christine Daée could sing it!"
Missouri Zèle glaires at her and scorns "The Ballet girl?"
"She's been taking lessons from a great teacher!"
"Oh from who?" Missouri Zèle growls
Christine frightened and shy "I-I don't know sir"
"Oh not you as well can you believe that? Full house and we have to cancel!!!" He yells
"Daée? That's a curious name. Any relation to the violinist?" Missouri Récita asks
"M-My father sir." Christine stutters
Madam Shering cuts in "Let her sing for you Missouri. She has been well taught."
"Very well!" Missouri Récita shouts eagerly
"From the beginning of the aura again!" Shouts the conductor
Christine panics and talks with the girl before she has to sing and looks around as they push her onto the stage. The piano begins playing

The day of the production Christine is rushed towards the dressing room to change into a the main actresses gown everyone surrounds her for a final briefing of the performance and her lines as she gets ready. She goes on stage and begins singing. As the production goes on, in box five are the two managers, their wives, and a mysterious man. He begins talking to the managers as Christine sings, "Can it be? Can it be Christine? Brava! Brava!! Long ago it seems so long ago how young and innocent we were she may not remember me but.. I remember her." The production comes to an end and the crowds loud applause roars throughout the theater.
