In the trance Christine began to think to herself not knowing what she is doing
"In sleep he sang to me. In dreams he came. That voice which calls to me and speaks my name and do I dream again? For now I find the phantom of the opera is there inside my mind." As the phantom drags her off through the woods he begins to speak to Christine,
"Sing once again with me. Our strange duet my power over you grows stronger yet and though you turn from me to glance behind the phantom of the opera is there. Inside your mind." The phantom then places her into a small boat and he phantom unties the boat he steers it toward a tunnel entrance. When they get inside the tunnel, there is a distant faint light that grows as they get closer. Soon they get into an odd room made out of bricks that is lit by over 1000 candles. Christine looks up at the man and speaks to him.
"Those who have seen your face draw back in fear. I am the mask you wear"
"It's me they hear"
Then they began speaking in sync with each other's voices because of the trance Christine was in.
"Through spirit and my voice in one combined the phantom of the opera is there inside your mind." Once he docks the boat he helps Christine out and tells her
"In all your fantasies you always knew that man and mystery-"
"We're both in you"
"And in this labyrinth where night is blind the phantom of the opera is here inside my mind." As they both begin to sing in harmony, he helps her off the boat and the man shouts at Christine.
"My angel of music!" As he did, the lights grew brighter and brighter. Soon she was at the doorway of his home. He takes her by the hand pulling her inside and she begins to speak, "He's there the phantom of the opera-"
Then the phantom cuts her off and shouts at her once more
"Sing!" She begins to sing one of her vocal notes and he continued to make her sing until she could sing no more. When she was out of breath, he explained,
"I have brought you to the scene of sweet music throne. To this kingdom where all must replenish to music. Music. You have come here for one purpose and one alone. Since the moment I first heard you sing I have need you with me. To serve me. To sing for my music. My music.."
