Meg's POV,

I was laying in bed searching through my phone, I was startled at the sound of my phone dinging. I received a text message, from Jack.

Lately, he's been texting me a lot but I never really replied. How rude am I?

J- hey babes, wanna go on a date?

M- um  not really.

J- oh! you finally answered, I saw that you read them....

M- oh

J- don't be so cold.

M- who said I was?

J- so R we on for tonight?

J- 8:30 , yeah?

M- sure whatever, you know were not dating for real, right?

J-  I know I'm just bored, so I decided to text you.

M-Wow

Jack is Typing.....

Wow, so since he's bored he decides to text me? Asshole.

"Meg!" , Luke yelled from downstairs. I immediately got up and ran to his room. "Yes?", I said standing in his door frame.

"Could you grab me my guitar", he stated. Didn't ask. What the hell? I looked around his room and his guitar was just across the room. I rolled my eyes and spoke. "It's right there, in your face", I said rolling my eyes.

"Does it look like I care? just get it, please?" , he said. I rolled my eyes and quickly grabbed the guitar to give to him , then before I walked out of the room he stopped me again. " wait, can you put my plate back  in the kitchen?" , I rolled my eyes and grabbed his stupid place. before walking out the door again, "Don't bother me anymore" , I said cruelly. Luke scoffed and I walked to the kitchen, then back to my room. .

I jumped back on my bed, I looked at my phone, Shit it was already 7:00, And I was supposed to me Jack at 8:30.

I groaned as I got out of bed and walked towards my dresser. I took one look in the mirror and smiled. I think I looked okay.

I grabbed a pair of black skinny jeans with a light blue denim shirt and some white flats. I looked at the time and saw it was 8:00 , I quickly brushed my hair and curled the ends. I put on my usual makeup routine , which wasn't a lot.

soon I was ready for this 'date'.

I quickly grabbed my phone, purse and ran downstairs.

"Mom , I'm going!" , I Yelled from downstairs.

Soon I was out the door.

Only to see that one face, I always hated seeing in front of my driveway.

"Hey , Babe you look beautiful", he spoke, I didn't answer and just quietly walked towards him, before saying.

"Don't call me babe"

"Woah, but I thought you wanted this? to 'go out' you don't seem interested", he said while we were walking away from the house.

"Huh?" , he asked again.

"God, It was a mistake!" , I yelled. he looked at me with wide eyes.  Sadly enough, he didn't answer. He just smirked at me. I was so confused.

"Aren't you going to ask  where were going?" , he asked.

"Um, where are we going?", I replied.  I felt really weird, for some reason, I couldn't talk. given I never really talked in front of other people. I was trying.

"That's the spirit , it's a surprise" , he laughed, gripping onto my shoulders, from behind me. I jolted away from him, remembering that one rule. I didn't want to get caught up.

We arrived at a really nice restaurant and Jack escorted me inside.

"How classy", I said under my breath. I felt really out of place, everyone was dressed so fancy, Funny, Jack takes me to a real classy restaurant and doesn't dress so nice himself, nor tells me to dress up. Cheap. Really Cheap.

"Hello, what would you like to order?",   a young waitress said.

"Water would be fine for now" , I replied smiling.

"A beer, Thanks" , Jack said.

Once she left I just stared at him, Until he noticed.

"What?" , he asked.

"Since when did you start drinking beer?", I asked.

"Honey, There's a lot of things you don't know about me", He replied.

"Hmm, Is that right?" , I replied.

soon the waitress came buy with our drinks and set them down on the table. I watched as Jack took a sip of his beer. I took a sip of water and continued to stare at him.

"Then I guess I better start to get to know you " I said, still looking into his eyes.

" I'd Like that"
