You sat next to your mother, you weren't actually having the most pleasant of times.
"We're watching history in the making! Isn't it exciting?" You didn't even want to look up at your mom, so instead you stared down at your left ring finger. Knowing that Adrien becoming king would possibly be the end, at least for you. Also the fact that this monster; the one who scared you the most will indeed be your Husband.
Looking up at the ceiling, you studied the patterns twist and swirls but also listening on to the sounds of people talking and chattering in the huge church which caused an echo that would bounce off these humongous ceilings. The huge bell started ring which causing everyone to stand, you stood up only minutes after everyone else. You had a couple of glares here and there by such action that occurred.
Your velvet dress swayed side to side, your (h/c) hair braided into a bun with beautiful wild flowers giving you the satisfaction of beauty since your mother begged you to please, please let her do your hair.
You clutched your hands together, almost turning your knuckles turning pearl white. Then everyone turned to stare at the soon to be breath breathtaking King. Everyone watched him walk down the stone-way.
You stared at Adrien, his brownish-black hair flow in the wind, giving the beautiful male the extra ordinary gasp of beauty that surrounds him as he was only a few feet away from you. He looked so graceful with just wearing that blue royal cape with black fur at the edge and on his broad shoulders that would also drape down to the floor behind him. It made him a very strong aroma, which felt soothing to your gentle one.
He had that aroma that reminded you of a fire candle, it can be calm and soothing as it would be forced by the wind. You have always thought that the wind was his parents always pushing him down and around. But once his father was now gone, it seemed as if the candle stopped being forced down but now, it seemed they caused a forest fire. All along, you didn't know that he was always waiting to start it but you knew, you knew that this was only the start. Soon he will engulf the forest and soon you as well.
You lost your train of thoughts when you caught him looking back at you in the corner of his purple eyes, he skimmed your body. Before taking in everything as he would stop to look at your timid (e/c) ones that he filled with fear.
A sly look formed on his face when he looked dead at you. You knowing why, it was only because of the dress and shoes he had chosen just for you.
'The dress does fit me quiet well.' You thought. But that didn't help the fact that he still couldn't stop looking at you until he passes you by.
Everyone sat down as everyone heard the old priest loud and clear. Speaking words of wisdom up at the almost new King.
You were very bored while waiting to have it be done, you wanted to go into your room, take off your gown, have your hair loose, and just lay down in bed, past asleep. Just to forget everything about everyone.
Then once again, everyone stood up and you were to busy daydreaming to have your mother grab your tender arm and yank you up.
Embarrassed, extremely embarrassed.
You placed your hand on your arm and held it tightly while giving your mother a disgusted expression.
Soon everyone started to chant. "Long live the king!" They would say it three times before everyone watched the King exited to the huge field outside. Filled with music, lively performers dancing, singing and of course foods of many culture.
You sat down at a random set, eating some cake. The you picked was vanilla and chocolate frosting with strawberries cut on top.
Almost like a snake, two pairs of arms slides around your small shoulders. Whoever this man was laid his head on the crook of your neck and sighed.
"Everyone are a bunch of morons. At least I just have to wait one more week and then I could relieve my stress over in to you in ways of pleasure." Just by the voice. You knew it was Adrien. "What do you mean? Or intend...." You turned your face to look down at him. You felt your body rumble by his chuckle.
"Our wedding? Don't you recall me telling you that we are getting married, I plan it to be a Friday." Your hands started to shake, you felt rushed at the idea. Not only that but because that is in ten days.
"Adrien. Are you sure you want to marry me?" You asked trying so hard for him to change his one track mind.
"Of course!" He yelled into your ear, then slowly gliding his hand down your chest, before he could grab what he wanted. You stood up quickly, spinning around around while covering your breast with your arms crossed to have your cake fall to the grassy ground. "Don't worry, no one will notice that the King is not pleasing his guest, not only that but turn to look at them. You'll notice something different." You raised an eyebrow, turning around to look, everyone was out cold, not to mention. Others, including your mother, they started to fall asleep on while mumbling a few words with a smile.
"What did you put in their drinks?!"
"Knock out juice but I won't tell you what it is only because that will ruin the fun." He pouted with his lips turned to a playful frown.
Watching his tall figure stood up and approach, making you back away from the purple eyed monster. "I don't trust you." You said bitterly.
"Don't be so dramatic, I can't think of hurting my fiancé." He put his arms out in the air to show he wasn't going to do such things.
"Why marry me? You could have all the women in the world dying to be in the Kings chamber right now but yet you choose to have me as your wife." You paused for a bit, looking into his now hurt eyes. "Women would be lining up, begging to be able to touch you and they are all so much prettier than me. So what am I to you?" You stood on your tip toes, knowing that your words are venom to him.
"Nothing, I am nothing in your eyes. Only a doll to toy with and then forget about once you are bored."
He took off his cape and wrapped it on your small shoulders. "You look tired, I think you should go to bed, I got a guest room waiting for you." Adrien grabbed your hand that he broke and rubbed it rather smoothly. Sending tingles up your arm.
"If you wish. I will lead you there." Staring into his eyes, you saw a something in that soon rolled down his cheek. A tear? He turned around sharply, gesturing for you to follow before you could guess what it was.You held onto his cape, it was nice and warm, just for your liking.
Following the New King up to the guest room, the way there had bunches of twist and turns until he came to a stop, causing you bump into Adrien. He unlocked the huge door with what seemed to be a large rusty key. He pushed the huge silver door open that had a western dragon sculpted onto it.
He turned to you and slipped off the cape, he dropped it to the ground next to him. It hit the floor with a thud. You tilted your head to the side, questioning why he dropped such an art piece of fabric.
Adrien placed his barely tanned hands on your shoulder, pulling your small, fragile body to him. He rapped his arms around you in a hug. Thus having to lay your head on his chest, he rocked he back and forth before letting you go.
"See you in the morning." You nodded your head with a smile.
You watched the King close the door as then you to went to the dresser to get ready for the night. But a thought came to your mind as you slipped off your clothes and let loos of your locks. 'Did I really just hurt his feelings?' Never did it cross your mind that maybe he was dying in the inside from those words of venom.
Just, maybe...
