-A liar may use re use words used in the question being asked, such as;
"Did you steal my umbrella, Sherlock?"
"I did not steal your umbrella, Mycroft."-One sided shrugs can often show discomfort, or the fact that something is wrong with the statement,
-In order it avoid your own lie from being detected;
Study your own face in a mirror. Tell a few lies, while not suppressing any facial features from coming to the surface. Study these expressions you make while lying; learn to avoid them while actually lying. Learn to avoid that nostril flare or twitch of the eye.-If someone is truly smiling at you, their eyes and nose will crinkle. If not, it's a fake smile, or they don't mean it.
-If a man is attracted to a woman, he may look at her lips instead of her eyes while she talks.
