Damaris' POV:

Me and mama finished our meals. We waited for the waiter to come give us the check.

The waiter came and gave my mom the check.

"Thank you umm... Umm..." My mom said.

She obviously forgot his name.

"Thanks Jake." I thanked him trying to cover for my mom.

"You're very welcome." He smiled at me then winked.

I just sat there... Weirdo.

"Well I'll leave you, umm you can pay in the front ma'm" he said and walked away.

"Ay niña le gustas." My mother said.

Translation:

(He likes you)

"Ay no madre si esta guapo pero yo me amo a Liam. El si es ME NOVIO!" I said.

Translation:

(No mother, he is handsome but I love Liam he's MY BOYFRIEND)

Seriously it's like my mother doesn't like Liam.

"Mom why are you trying to get me to notice the waiter?" I asked annoyed.

"Because you never kn-" she said till I cut her off.

"Mom yes you never know! Geez mom you said that already, but me and Liam have a connection no one is going to break ever!" I said frustrated.

My mother just looked at me and nodded, "Fine" she said getting up.

Shit... Pissed her off or made her upset either way not good ;(

I got out of my seat too and followed her to the counter.

Where Jake was smiling and waiting.

"Thank you umm.. Umm..." She said forgetting his name again.

"Thanks Jake!" I said rolling my eyes.

She turned back and looked at me then turned back, "yeah thank you." She said and started walking to the exit.

I started too, but Jake got In front of me.

I just stared at him.

I cleared my throat, "Umm yes?" I asked.

"Oh yeah right. Sorry. Umm... Hi I'm Jake." Jake said blushing.

Ok weird...

"I know haha. I'm Damaris." I slightly smiled.

"Oh yeah right. I was your waiter." He suddenly remembered.

"Yep." I said.

"Oh... Well I was wondering if you wanted to go out maybe?" He asked.
