Dinners. I hate them. These earth people make disgusting food and they think it's good! The tuxedo (I think that's what it's called) that they gave me has a deep green tie that brings out my emerald green eyes. Mr.Cambell said that the dinner was going to be in the main dining hall which I've never been. Mr.Cambell said that if I went in there he would kill Elle. I quickly slipped on my glove that looks like a human hand so that the humans don't know that I have a metal hand and rushed out the door.

As I made my way there I was thankful that I didn't see anyone because if I saw someone I would have to communicate with them which is 'polite' and that is probably the last thing I wanted to do and right now I need to clear my head. When I got there the hall was dizzyingly high and was divided into two halves on the left half there was the dancing or ball room area and on the right half it was the eating and dining area with an all you can eat buffet.
"Jake!" A voice. Xanders voice. "Hey man good to see you. Mr.Cambell said you probably wouldn't come." He stated he's my new friend that I've made since I've been here with slick black hair and stunning blue eyes.
"Yeah well, that bastard doesn't know anything" I snapped
"Woah someone's grumpy. What happened? WAIT WAIT let me guess first." Excited that's the only word I could use to describe him. "Fine" I sighed I wasn't in the mood for this but he's done nothing wrong so I'll just let him guess
"go ahead"
"Okay, okay, okay! Hmm......okay so I'm gonna go out on limb here and say that it has something to do with your girlfriend?" He asked sounding way to sure of himself for his own good. Stupid earthlings.
"Yes" I answered with a sigh "but she's not my girlfriend" Xander was the only person who knows about my crush on Elle and he is a big help with dealing with it.
"Oh ok then" he sighed sounding disappointed "hey I know this girl and she thinks your hot. She's that one over there" he said pointing to a blond girl who looked maybe 17 earth years old. She was actually really pretty with wavy blond hair that goes down to her waist and abeautiful red dress that would look stunning on Elle. Ok me stop thinking about Elle she's in an asylum she can't get out, she doesn't matter. But she does whispers that stupid little voice in the back of my head.
"Yeah and?" I asked getting really irritated now
"Well you go and ask her to a dance stupid" he points ok obviously getting annoyed as well
"She's about as ugly as a donkey's but" I am a terrible liar. I heard a slap and turned around to find that Xander had face palmed rather loudly. Mr.Cambell walked over to me with a bunch of older men all with white hair and started introducing me to them
"Hello Mr.Jacobs, it's nice to see you actually showed up instead of declining our offer again like you always do" he said way to polite that you could tell all the cheeriness in his voice was fake "this is Clyde, Clyde this is Jake" he introduced me to a man with hair so white it would put fresh snow to shame and blue eyes with a sparkle of mystery in them and a tux just like mine but a blue bow instead of a green tie.
"Hello Jake, it's nice to finally meet you. Mr.Cambell has talked about you heaps" so I'm not the only one who has to call him that. I shook his hand. He had a xarthianium ring on which was magnetised to my metal hand
"If you don't mind me asking, but where did you get that ring from?" I asked him
"Oh this" he said sounding really uncomfortable " I picked it up from a second hand store" liar he's a dirty little liar
"Stop lying!" I snapped. All eyes from everyone in the room were on us "you seriously need to stop lying and give me that ring or I swear I will chop it off you finger if I have to" he ran "stupid move mate" I called and chased after him. I tried to keep track of the turns so I could back-track and find my way back to the hall. Left, right, right, left, left, left, right. I jumped on him and we both fell I ended on top of him and pinned down his arms so he couldn't move them
"Now answer me" I growled
"I...I...I...You-"
"Spit it out!" My patients is about to snap
"Jake listen to me, your mum gave this ring to me-"
"Your lying"
"No I'm not she gave this to me-"
"She's dead" I yelled "all because of you stupid humans you hunted her down and killed her, she was pregnant with my little baby sister and you killed her and cut the baby out of her stomach to put in a stupid museum"
"I was there" he was yelling now "I tried to help her she gave me the ring and told me to give it to Elle she told me to tell you that she will always be with you in your heart. I tried to fight them off to save her but it was to late she died in my arms the took her to a lab and I told them not to harm her dead body but they didn't listen, the just locked my outside and all I could see was them cutting open her stomach. I screamed and yelled until I had no voice left. I loved her Jake, I was your step-father then I did the dumbest thing ever and ran away I ran and ran until I found you being pulled away by them and I was worried that they would do the same thing to you that they did to your mum so I followed you and them and they showed you the big hole in her stomach"  he was crying now we both were I let him sit up and me both leaned against the wall.
