Pipes and vents

I crawled through the vents trying to get away from the sound of their breathing; raspy, rough, ragged. As I was crawling I felt something dripping down my face. I carefully touched touched my cheek trying not to hit the thin, metal sides of the vents. I felt the trail of the droplet and traces it up to my eye. I was crying. 'I shouldn't be crying. Why am I crying?' I thought ' he's only my best friend in the universe who stabbed me in the back and lied to me. I mean it's no big deal. Right? Right?' I started sobbing quietly trying not to make too much noise. Why was this affecting me so much? I was in that position for maybe an hour or more, quietly sobbing, hoping that no one will ever mistreat me like that again.

As I crawled on and on through the air vents I spotted something shiny, reflecting the light straight into my eyes. It stung and I had to look away. Wait! Its reflecting light! Light! There must be some Escape hole or something! I quickly but quietly made my way rushing through the vent towards the shiny item. As I got to it I noticed a small silver rain with a big diamond on it. I carefully picked it up and admired it. It was a beautiful silver band with lots of little diamonds daughter around it with a diamond sitting perfectly on the band it looked as if nothing could break the two apart. That's how me and Jake used to be before he betrayed me. I carefully placed it on my middle finger on my right hand it seemed to have been made for my hand, it fitted so perfectly. I admired it for a minute or two but then I snapped back into reality remembering that I had a task to do. Get out of here.  I felt cold wind whip past me. They had turned on the fan. I was rushing my way through the vents no longer caring about being quiet I had to get out of there.
