"So," the teen beside the strawberry-blonde said. Kicking a pebble, his hands dug deeply into his pockets. "Where are you heading?"
"Why do you need to know? You sound like a stalker now." The blonde laughed.
"Hey! That was cruel. After I helped you and all." Sting said.
"I was just playing with you. I'm heading home. You?" She hit his arm playfully.
"Nowhere ,really. I don't wanna go back to that cafe. My dad might scold me." He laughed.
"Wait..what?" Lucy stopped in her tracks. The boy ran a hand through his hair.
"That cafe that we went to. It was my dad's. He doesn't want me eating the pastry goods. Well, I did...and if I go back there. I'm sure to get a scolding," Lucy laughed. Sting also chuckled along.
"I see...do you want to stay over my house? I'll cook you some food. How 'bout it, Eucliffe?" Lucy asked. Sting nodded.

"Nice place." Sting plopped onto the couch.
"Eto...make yourself at home, I guess...," Lucy went to the kitchen to prepare food.

"So, what kind of guy are you..?" Lucy asked curiously. Scooping some food.
"W-What? Er..well, what guy do you think I am?"Sting asked. He sat at the table with Lucy. The two blond(e)s were eating.
"A player and a jock." She teased.
"You're actually right! Wow..,"He said in a sarcastic-amused tone
"Eh?" Lucy couldn't believe what he just said. "W-What?"
"Darling," he rested his chin on his palms. "I'm a player and a jock. All the girls love me. Don't tell me you were just joking! It's obvious! How my attitude is."
"I-I never thought of it like that! I just thought you were some kind of jerk! A-And don't call me 'darling'!" Lucy couldn't help but blush.
"Ouch..," Sting acted as if he was in pain. His dear heart was stabbed by the blonde before him. "Well, I think you're a...conservative, innocent girl. Right, blondie?" Sting said. The girl blushed at the nickname given to her and she doesn't know why. "How old are you anyways?"
"Seventeen."
"And you trust a total stranger? I'm a guy. Blondie. You just can't trust guys..where's your parents. I'm sure they'll get angry at you."
"Eucliffe. I trust you. Plus, my parents aren't here..," She began tearing up. Sting understanding what she meant.
"Oh..erm..blondie..I'm sorry." Sting stammered. He couldn't think of anything else, but pull her into a hug. Lucy quietly wept on his shoulder.
"Thank you, Eucliffe." She mumbled. Then, broke away from the hug. She smiled. "You're my new best friend!"
"W-WHAT?! But we just met!"
"But I already know what kind of person you are! A jock, cocky, and a player, true...but you're caring! You're really nice!"
"Blondie...I barely know you," He said sadly. He barely knew the girl. Visa versa.
"Oh..I understand!" She nodded with a cheerful smile. Deep down, she was sad. She never had a friend. Not since she lost her friend, Michelle. The doll that her mother gave her when she was eight.
"B-But!" When Sting said this. Lucy had hope. Maybe she can get a friend. And it will be this guy. "I don't know know much about you. Nonetheless, I want to be your friend, too!" He blushed. He's never blushed like this in front of girl before. Lucy smiled which made Sting turn red.
"Let's get to know each other more and become friends soon, yeah?" Lucy smiled. Her eyes were shut close, but her teeth were shown. Sting smiled softly.
"Yeah. Lets."
"Alrighty! My name is Lucy Heartfilia! Age seventeen. My mom sadly passed away when I was seven. While my father passed away when I was fifteen. I was pretty much a loner ever since I lost my doll that my mom gave me, till I met a jerk named Sting Eucliffe." She smiled. She took her hand out.
"Nice to meet'cha, blondie! The name's Sting Eucliffe! Age seventeen as well. My mom passed away, but I still have my old man. His name's Weisslogia Eucliffe. I'm a jock and a player who's single and ready to mingle!" He winked at Lucy which earned him a giggle. "I have two best friends! Their names are Yukino and Rogue," Lucy smiled sadly that he didn't consider her as a best friend. "But, I have a third who's already becoming my best friend. And her name's blondie! AKA Lucy Heartfilia!" He laughed. Lucy laughed as well. She clapped in happiness like a child.
"Gah! Thanks, Eucliffe!" She hugged him.
