My view on Friendship

  Everyone needs a friend now-a-days. But some people don't feel the need to have friends. Some people may not have friends just because of who they are. But it's not their fault, lies sometimes cause that kind of thing, or cliques. Certain groups are the division of people in today's word. Everyone was friendly and easy to talk to back in my parents days. To bad that's not true anymore.

   It bothers me to see people who are only friends with someone because their popular, rich, etc. Be friends with somebody because they relate to you, you connect with them, you feel you can trust them. I'v gone through times when I didn't have close friends, I got through it. Last year, I got in a fight(not a physical fight)with my best friend since second grade. We still talk, but the friendship isen't the same. But it happened for a reason, maybe will be closer in the future? But for now I have my 2 best friends since 6th grade(I'm in 8th now) I'm glad to have them, they understand me and help me with problems.

  I'm close with them and trust them. Sometimes they don't understand me, but no body will understand you more than yourself or a bestfriend who knows everything. I tell them everything, but sometimes it's just difficult. But I can talk to them about anything. Friendship is important in life, some people only use it for a game.

  People may act like your friends only to hurt you. Give everybody a chance, just always remember some people aren't what they seem. Preps, jocks, 'freaks', 'geeks', everyone has a label. But that isen't right, because people judge you from what they see. Just because your an artist, a book worm, a rocker, etc, dosn't make you weird or a freak. Like how all blondes are dumb, not true. How all jocks are dumb, not true. Stereotypes are big today in society.

  I have friends in all sorts of groups, I don't follow the rules of how the 'groups should work.' I'm classified as a geek probley. Because I love to read, draw, sing, and be loud. But nothing is wrong with me, I'm friendly to anyone who's willing to show it back.

  Friendship is ruined by cliques today, because of what somebody has. Which is pretty stupid. Not judging anybody, even though it's pretty sad that you'd leave your true friends for fake ones. This isen't a lecture, just my view on how friendship is today and how I see it. If people weren't in cliques, life would be easier. Not everybody would be nice, but a lot of more people would probley be friends.

  My defenition on cliques=(1) types of groups who judge others by what they have, dont have, and look like. (2)groups others classify you into just because of the things they see you do.
