My phone starts ringing and when I look down at it and see that it is my friend from America so I quickly answer "GUESS WHAT, I'M COMING TO VISIT YOU" "Calm down Tj. Tell me when and why?" "Ok. So my plane is early tomorrow and I'm bringing a friend for you to meet. I think you will like him." I could just feel her wiggling her eyebrows, for weeks she had been texting me about this guy Jerome. Tj wanted me to meet him because she thought I was lonely. "Why do you have to bring him you know that I have a gig in two days and I've never met this guy." Everyone knew almost everyone in my home town Framlingham, Suffolk so I was comfortable with singing in front of locals and my best friend. "It'll be fine Anna, trust me he is really nice. Please for me?" I very rarely said no to Tj especially when she was travelling so far to visit me so I gave in "Fine, but he is staying on the couch." She replied excitedly after some murmurs on the other end of the call "Ok, Jerome said that is fine." Then Tj finished the call happily "see you tomorrow arvo A."

Right now I am at the airport to pick up Tj and Jerome from their flight. I was dressed for my gig (MEDIA) and beyond excited to see my best friend. All of a sudden I feel a weight on my back and giggling in my ear and I knew it was Tj. I turned around once she got off my back and saw her standing next to a guy whom I guessed was Jerome, he stood smiling at me and quietly laughing at Tj's actions "Well hello to you to Tj, and you must be Jerome. I'm Anna." "I know.... I mean uhhh yeah, well Tj talks about you lots" he said while stumbling on his words. I just laughed "Yeah, she has told me lots about you too." Tj started giggling again and said quietly "Success." She then spoke up loader "A, don't you have a gig in 15 minutes? " "SHIT! Yes I do we should probably go now." So we headed off to the pub.
When we arived I had 2 minutes before I performed so I quickly tuned my guitar until I was told to go on stage.
"Hi everyone my name is today I'm going to sing two songs for you and I'm going to play guitar along with it."
"First up is All of Me" I started playing it on my guitar then I began singing

"My second song is Mean by Taylor Swift, and Henry here will be doing some backup singing and playing guitar by my side" I said all this while another perfomer came on stage to help me out.We both started strumming and I sang

Applause was all I could hear and when it quietened down I said "Thank you all for watching have a great night, Bye." I walked over to Jerome and Tj, Tj squealed squashing me in a bone crushing hug ehile Jeeome just said "You have an amazing voice and a great talent with that guitar" I sheepishly grin and reply "Thanks Jerome, not many guys actually take the time to tell me that once I leave the stage. It is a nice change."
This guy turned out nicer than I thought he would be and he has the nicest personality for someone who only just met me. I think I like this boy.
