" 'Til all my sleeves are stained red
From all the truth that I've said
Come by it honestly I swear
Thought you saw me wink, no
I've been on the brink."
After I had finished showering, I dialed Justin's number. He picked up on the third ring "Summer Kay Jameson, where have you been? I have been trying to get a hold of you and it has gotten me no where." he yelled, clearly worried. I hated when he got like this, like really? Its not like I'm a child, and he most definitely isn't my mother.
"First of all, stop yelling at me. Second, I met a guy, and we were talking. We talked longer than I thought it was going to take. He gave me a ride home, once we got back and saw you had left." I replied, slightly frustrated with him.
"Guy? What guy? I thought you were going to get drinks." I waited a minute or two, to reply, so that I could calm myself down.
"I was going to get drinks, but then I decided to walk away from everyone because I wasn't feeling up to socialize. Also, it may come as a surprise, but I talk to more guys than just you. And this guy's name, was Damien. I was actually going to ask if you knew him, because he seemed to know who you were." I said, out of breath.
"Damien who? What did he look like?" He seemed paranoid when he spoke.
"He had broad shoulders and was muscular, but not in a 'body builder' way, more like enough to protect you without crushing you. Ya know?" I asked, imagining him as I described him to Justin.
"Okay, without all the hormones and sex appeal, can you describe him?" Justin asked, annoyed.
"Oh, okay.. He had an olive skin tone, dark hair, and blue eyes. Ringing any bells?" I hoped Justin would know who he was.
"I'm coming over. Don't leave your house, and lock the doors. Don't worry about me getting in, I know where the key is. Okay?" I heard him grab his keys, and slam his door on the way out.
"Yea okay, bu-" I was cut off, by him hanging up on me.
Well, then! And to think he wants to come over. I walk downstairs, lock the front door, and headed back upstairs to change into my PJ's. I decide on a pair of red and black plaid pajama pants and a black tank top. I'm laying in my bed, when I hear the front door open, shut, and someone start heading up the stairs. I'm getting out of bed and my door slams open, bouncing off the wall. Justin comes running to me.
"What the hell Justin? What's your problem, do you not know how to knock?" I yell at him, confused. He usually does knock, something must really be wrong.
"Did he touch you in anyway? Scratch, hit, or even bite you?" He asks, while searching me for any marks.
"No, he didn't. Why would he?" Why is he acting like this? Is Damien that big of a threat? He sure didn't act like it, if he is.
Justin removed his hands from me, relieved. "Did he say anything to you that may have seemed a bit odd? Or even insane?" He continued with his questions.
"No, but listen if you want to ask me anymore questions you'll have to wait until mine are answered." I said in all seriousness.
"Okay, shoot." he said, growing impatient.
"How do you know Damien? Why is me knowing him such a big deal? Why would he hurt me, and what could he have said to me?" I asked, wanting to get to the bottom of this. Justin's eyebrows began to furrow, as if he was concentrating on something before he spoke. He explained that him and Damien had met when they were younger, but had never really gotten along. He said that Damien was a rough guy, and I shouldn't really be talking to him. Pretty much telling me that he thought Damien was bad news, so I couldn't be around him. He avoided my last two, as if I wouldn't notice."Okay, now why would he hurt me, and what could he have said to me?" I don't know why he was trying to avoid my questions, but I wasn't going to let him get away with it.
"You don't want to know Summer. You're just not ready to know. In fact, I don't think it's necessary for you to know at all." He said, attempting to drop the subject.
"No Justin! Tell me, I'm tired of all this secrecy. If you don't tell me, I'll just ask Damien. I'm sure he won't mind telling me." I get off my bed and head towards the bathroom, where I had left my phone. Justin quickly followed me, grabbed my wrists, and turned me around.
"Okay I'll explain everything to you, but you're gonna want to sit down." He spoke, pulling me back towards the bed to sit down. "I think you're being a tad dramatic. I don't think your news is going to be that b-"
"Summer, I'm a werewolf." He said, cutting me off.
~Hey! I know I haven't been on in a while, and I'm sorry for that. I thought writing would be easier than it actually is.
Plus, I've been busy a lot, between dance, color guard, and friends. Since school is about the start, and things will probably become more complicated, I have decided to update once a week instead.
Which will be Thursdays. Anyways Don't forget to vote, follow, and leave feedback!
Thanks babes. (: xox Stormy~
