Recently, the man hasn't come back to my room in a couple of days. I've heard him walking in the hallway, or at least I think it was him. With him not here with me, I took the time to try and find an escape, but I had no such luck. I still couldn't walk, well at least. Despite this, I still tried to find a way out of this hell hole. Every time I thought I had a good idea, it turned out to be a dead end.
His footsteps echoed throughout the room as he walked near my door. I thought he was just going to walk past like every other day, but unfortunately, I was wrong.
The door creaked open. I squinted due to the sudden burst of light. Slowly, I fluttered my eyes open to find not a man, but a women. She had crimson hair, as if it was dyed with blood. Her eyes were no different; the same shade of red; I assumed they were contacts.
Only half of her face was showing when the lady smiled like the Cheshire Cat; eyes closed and a grin from ear to ear. It was creepy. She looked sweet, but blood thirsty at the same time.
She took a few steps in the room, the door slamming behind her. The lady's velvet high heels clicked on the floor as she walked closer to me.
I looked up at her hands to see if she was a friend or foe. Her hands were empty. If she were to be on the side of my abductor, she certainly had a different way to torture me.
The lady in red held out her hand. Her fingernails were painted red as well. "Here," the lady's voice was silk. She didn't seem to be an enemy. It seemed like she was helping me get out of here. "Give me your hand. Let me help you." I did as she asked. My hand reached up weakly to grab hers. She tightened her grip on my wrist and heaved me up. "Let's get you out of this room. It seems so grim." I nodded in agreement.
The lady in red didn't get me out of the building, but she did get me into a better living space. It appeared to be the lady's room because it was all red. Some parts of the room had red that was so pale it was pink and other parts it was nearly black. The only area of the room that wasn't red was the ceiling fan; it was white. Only, the color didn't matter. All that I care about was that there was a bed with the comfiest looking comforter ever.
"Go on, you should get some rest." Her voice was so sweet I almost fell asleep in her arms, "We have big plans for you tomorrow."
'who is we?' I thought to myself.
The lady walked me over to the bed and I fell onto it. I wrapped the blankets around me as if I was wrapping myself as a present to give on Christmas.
'So soft~' I internally squealed.
"Pleasant dreams my dear." The lady in red whispered as she turned off the light and shut the door.
'My dear?'
