A friendship that lasts forever [Snamione]

Prologue

*BOOM*

"LONGBOTTOM, YOU IMBECILE! WHAT IN MERLIN'S NAME DID YOU DO THIS TIME?" Snape said with anger.

"I-I don't know sir. I was just referring to the board then I stirred it then it exploded." Neville's face was full of fear. He was terrified of the Potions Master. Professor Snape glared coldly to Neville causing him to shiver in fear.

"Detention. And 25 points from Gryffindor."

Hermione sighed to herself. She felt pity for Neville. He always gets in trouble. Just this once she thought, just this once. "Please sir, it wasn't Neville's fault." She just felt bad for Neville who always gets in trouble.

"Then who's was it, Miss Granger?"

Hermione let out a sad sigh. "It was me sir. It was my fault. I mistook Neville's cauldron to mine and added the Spider's Venom to his which was supposed to be added after you stir it." She looked down with guilt and embarrassment.

"You? You accidentally dropped the Spider Venom to Longbottom's cauldron? Hmm, the insufferable know-it-all making mistakes, never thought the day would come. Very well Miss Granger, this serves you weeks of detention which will start tonight at 8 pm. Sharp."

Neville whispered, "Hermione, what are you-" She cut him off before Snape hears.

"Yes Professor Snape." Hermione then winked at Neville and returned to her cauldron which was next to Ron, Harry and Neville.

"Hermione, what did you do? It was my fault, it was supposed to be stirred clockwise, not counter clockwise! I didn't even see you!" Neville, whispering worriedly who was still confused on being thankful or worried.

"Well I was trying to save your arse. Now get back to work before Snape sees you." Neville noded.

"Hermione what the bloody hell is wrong with you? How could you, the brightest which of her age make a mistake?" Said Ron.

"Yeah 'Mione, you sick or something?" Said Harry.

"I'm fine you guys, I just wanted to save Neville's arse. I just thought he had enough detention for the month. Now finish the potion before I have to save yours and earn months worth of detention."

"Kay Mione." the boys said. They continued working on their potion?
