"PROFESSOR SNAPE! IT'S US HARRY AND RON!" Snape walked towards the door angrily and said,

"What do you want Potter?" He hissed. "How did you even know where my chambers are?"

"Not important Sir. We just want to know where Hermione is. She didn't go back to Gryffindor Tower last night, last we heard from her was that she was serving detention for you."

"She's at the Hospital Wing. Now get going" Snape said in a rush.

"WHAT? Why is she at the Hospital Wing Professor? What happened?" Exclaimed Ron.

"Why don't you get going and ask her that?" Said Snape as he slammed the door at them.

"Stupid git." Said Ron.

"Let's just go to the Hospital Wing and ask Hermione. C'mon Ron!"

They ran like there was no tomorrow and went to Hermione. She was like their sister and they would never let anything happen to her as long as long as they're alive. They were always overprotective towards Hermione. They would always ask her questions like where she was, who she was with, or what she did. They loved her very much like they were siblings. When they arrived at the doors of the Infirmary, they ran in and screamed her name in unison as an attempt to find her.

"HERMIONE!"

"Ron? Harry? What are you guys doing here? How did you know where I was?"

"We, went, Snape. Said, Infirmary." Harry said panting obviously exhausted from running.

"What, happen, you," Ron exhaled.

"Well I got into an accident last night during detention."

"Mione, that's exactly what Snape last night. FULL DETAILS PLEASE. He slammed the door on us and told us to ask you. But anyway, I'm sure that this has something to do with your fever." Harry said. Ron already passed out from exhaustion. Luckily, he passed out on a bed.

"Well, I hit the ingredients shelf then Spider Venom hit my shoulder. It was pretty late then so Professor Snape brought me to his chambers. And well I spent the night there."

"You should really watch yourself Mione. It's only the 2nd day of school."

"Look who's talking, you're the one who got detention on the first day of school!"

"Well Miss Granger, your shoulder has been properly mended. All I want you to do is rest your arm and prevent tiring yourself." Said Madam Pomfrey. "You may go. You may leave Weasley here."

"Thank you Madam Pomfrey." She nodded in response.

They both of them left and was headed to the Great Hall for breakfast. They had a conversation about how leaving Ron was a bad idea because it was breakfast. When they were about 15 meters away from the doors, Hermione noticed Harry's hand that seemed to be redder than normal.

"Harry, what happened to your hand?"

"What?" He raised his left hand, flipping it left and right showing no signs of wounds. "I don't see anything, you must be drowsy Hermione."

"Your right hand Harry!" She grabbed his right hand pointed out the wound, which harry quickly withdrew. "Harry, please tell me. You know I care for you like my own brother, you can tell me anything. Honest."

They seated on the Gryffindor table beside Ginny and and Neville. "Ok fine. I'll tell you." Harry whispered. "But not here." Hermione nodded in response. They ate breakfast and had a conversation about quidditch. She was listening intently to them until her gaze fell upon Snape. She stared at him for a while, oblivious to anything and everything around her. Then his eyes found hers. They stared at each other for a while until Hermione broke it when Harry called for her.

"Hermione, Hermione?"

"Oh-um-yeah what?" Hermione stuttered.

"I said we have to get to class."

"Oh yeah, Defense Against the Dark Arts." They walked to Professor Umbridge's classroom where they waste their time not learning anything at all as Hermione had said. The rest of the day went quite slow for Hermione. She was excused from her detention today as she had to rest.

The following day, they finished all their classes and resided to their dormitories. They went to the Prefect's dormitories where it had a small common room that has a fire place you can use to travel by floo. It also had a sofa faced in front of the fireplace and a couple of tables and chairs. The walls was of course, Red and orange and so was everything else. Ron was pondering moves for Wizard's Chess while Harry went off for his detention with Umbitch. Hermione was on the sofa dominating her homework and doing extra credit to keep being ahead by 2 weeks. After a while, Ron went out and said he had to do something. A few moments later, Harry went inside.

"Hey Mione."

"Hello Harry. Have you done the homework for today?" She said.

"Oh yeah, I forgot about that. I'm gonna go get my books first, I'll come back here. When Harry was about to leave, Hermione stood up called for him again. "Harry wait!" He turned around and gave her a "what-do-you-want face".

"You haven't told me about your hand yet."

"Oh, um, blimey Hermione, I haven't got much time, dinner's about to start and-"Harry said before getting cut off by Hermione.

"Harry," Hermione said crossing her arms.

"Alright fine." Harry sighed inwardly before telling her. "It happened during detention. Umbitch-" Hermione didn't even bother correct him "I'm sorry, Umbridge gave me a quill that writes whatever you write on a piece of parchment on your hand. It doesn't use any ink. "

"WHAT!" Hermione shouted. She started pacing the room "That's totally barbaric! What she's doing isn't right Harry! You've got to report her!" She grabbed his hand and saw that it was much worst because it scarred the words, I must not tell lies. It trickled a bit of dried-up blood too. He retracted his hand almost immediately.

"No." Harry said hastily. "Dumbledore's got enough on his mind. And I won't tell Mcgonagall "

She sat back down on the sofa and so did Harry. "Okay fine. Does it still hurt?"

"Yeah, a bit. "

"I know something for that, It's called Murtlap essence, I just need the ingredients." She said worriedly. "Just do the homework. I'll be back. You can use the floo. "

"Thanks Mione."

And with that said, she set went to get the ingredients. When she found what she needed, Harry was sitting on one of the chairs doing his homework. She conjured up the things she would need and made the Murtlap solution for Harry's hand. By the time she was done making it, Harry was just reading the book that Umbridge gave to them. She walked up to him slowly so she wouldn't startle him.

"Harry, here's the Murlap solution. Dip your whole hand in it. It'll help it heal." He automatically dipped his whole hand in the bowl. When he did, his face looked much more relaxed.

"Thanks Hermione."

"Alright." Said Harry. And so, they went to the Great Hall.
