A few weeks had past and just this morning, the Daily Prophet said that Umbridge is now the High Inquisitor. Hermione and Snape had a developing friendship over the past weeks, but do not call each other with their first names. They called it square on seeing each other naked. Snape had been a teensy bit easy on Hermione during her lessons, so he can maintain his reputation. She was in his chambers sitting with Snape serving the rest of her detention in the dungeons. She was grading the first year's papers. They were sitting on the chairs that was placed in front of the table near the fireplace.

"Um, Sir?" Said Hermione.

"Hm?" He responded whilst raising his left eyebrow, not looking away from the papers he was grading.

"Have you heard about Professor Umbridge? In the Daily Prophet? Have you been inspected yet?" She looked up from the papers then to him.

"Of course I have. And no. I have not been inspected." He said still looking down at the papers ignoring Hermione's stare at him.

"Oh," There was a long pause before she broke the silence. "are you proud of me then?"

"Proud of what?"

"My essay, I got an O remember?"

"Granger, you get O's in everything. It's not much of a surprise."

"Yes, but it's in Potions!" She exclaimed.

"Fine." He said grumpily. She smiled in triumph and continued to grade papers. After a while, she was finished.

"I'm done grading this now." She said fixing the papers so they were aligned together and handed them to him.

"You may go back now."

"But you're not even finished grading yet! Can't I at least help you? I want to stay!" She whined.

"And? Why don't you read a book? There's a perfectly good bookshelf over there full of books."

"I've read the books there already! Don't you have more books in a desk or something?"

"As a matter of fact I do." He exclaimed. He stood up and motioned her to follow him. When he did, she tilted her head as an act of confusion. She stood up and followed him. When he led her to the kitchen, she got even more confused. But, when they were in the kitchen, he went inside a door. She's never went inside there, but now, she did. She went in front of him to get a better look. It was majestic! There were rows upon rows of bookshelves, besides that, there was about 5 cauldrons and a table full of organized folders. There was 2 cabinets which consist of rare and harmful ingredients. There was a floor lamp beside a couch that was against the wall. The walls colours were the shade of grey. She approached the bookshelves and looked at the titles. The books here better than the ones at the restricted section in the Hogwarts library. She immediately grabbed a book and sat down on the couch. Snape was still in between the door frame staring at Hermione. He smirked at the little bookworm as she overwhelms herself in books.

He goes back to the living room and continues to grade the papers. After he finishes, he sits in front of the fireplace and reads a book to pass time. When he looks at the clock it says 12:47. He closes the book and places it on the table. He goes to his personal library to check on Hermione. She was sleeping on the couch holding The subtle art of  Potion Making. He tried to wake her up but she just kept making weird faces and smacking his arm. He picked up the book and placed it on a table. He later picked up Hermione bridal style and went to the Gryffindor Tower. When he arrived, he negotiated with the portrait that led to the Prefect's dormitories.
