Naruto One Shots [Ships, x Reader]

Minato x Kakashi (MinaKaka)

Watching from a distance, I see the man gaining on the boy, thrashing his sword out with great strength. The boy was struggling and couldn't keep up. 'That must be a first', I thought to myself. I watch his footwork and I could see the accident waiting to happen; I won't let it.

Like teleporting, I flash forward like lightning, leaving behind me a trail of yellow sparks. It's unique to me, and I'm famous for it. They call me 'The Yellow Flash'.

The young boy steps in the wrong place, one misplaced error and he is sent over the cliff's edge. I almost didn't make it to him.

"Minato Sensei..?"

"Let's go, and quickly. Forget the guy."

"I can't move very fast... it's my foot. But that doesn't matter let's move on anyway."

He walks ahead of me and I look down to see that he is limping. A twisted ankle? Maybe even broken? I wish Rin was still with us to attend to him... I'm no good at all that medical stuff. She was what kept this team strong... which is now only a team of two... just me and Kakashi.

I mean I'm not complaining, I do love having alone time with him. I feel guilty to even think that, as he is my student after all. But... I just can't help it! I wonder if Kakashi likes boys...

"Kakashi... I don't want to put pain on you. The mission is over you deserve a rest. Stop walki-"

"We need to get back to the village we can't stop."

"How about... I carry you then?"

The silver haired boy raises an eyebrow at me, sending a frown to droop across my face. Was that too forward?

"Uh, I think I can manage to walk, thanks..."

We stroll quietly beside each other through the forest path, I don't dare speak another word to him. I made it awkward enough earlier.

After a while, he stops to pull something out of his sack. I continue forward but keep an eye on him. Oh god. It's that damn book again. I thought he was making a change to put it down for a while, but looks like I was wrong. I've never asked him what the book is about, although it must be interesting if he can barely put it down. Being my awkward self again, I perk up and decide to question him.

"Hey, Kakashi? What exactly is that book anyways..."

"Uh, Nothing."

That was a blunt answer. Trying to peer round at the cover, he gives me a strange look. If he isn't going to answer me properly, then I will find out for myself.

"What are you doing..."

"I don't take nothing as an answer. C'mon, tell me! You never put that thing down."

"No."

No? To be honest I would rip that book away from his gloved hands, if I wanted to. Maybe I will, actually.

I tear it from his grip and observe the page, my face flushing a deep red. He reads this stuff every day and doesn't wince once?! That's probably the reason he wears that damn mask, too!

"Hey, give that back!"

"Kakashi how can you read this stuff in front of me?!"

"I- I can do what I like..! I just choose to read this style of writing, got a problem?"

Actually, I kind of do have a problem. He can read this stuff in front of my face and I would've never guessed that it was because he is such an emotionless, strange... sexy.. young man! I want in on this stuff, y' know? Oh god, I want to know what else is in those books now. I wonder what he is thinking when he reads this stuff... Or who he sees himself with...

"Well, sensei?"

By the look in his eyes I can tell he is unimpressed right now. It's probably the fact that my face is steaming red and I'm shaking. Minato, stop this! Keep your cool. Oh wait it's too late for that. Screw it, I need him. I look like a fool right now, but I don't want to leave him unimpressed with me. He should be looking up to me, I'm his sensei!

I blink back into a stable reality and focus on his gaze.

"Minato Sensei..?"

"Kakashi.."

Grabbing him, I rip that mask of his away his face and lean in, planting a kiss on his mouth. He tenses up under me, but then relaxes. Why is he relaxing? I feel him kiss me back and I start panicking myself again. He pulls away to reply to my thoughts from earlier. Oh damn, I've always wanted to hear this.

"Sensei. You and me. Let's see how far we can make it through this book together."
