Okay so i have decided that i’m going to be writing the next few chapters in third person. This is because there is alot of things that will be happening and i don’t want to have to constantly change point of views because there will be some times to be described by someone else and i kind of hate when people constantly do that. Ya if that makes sense? So you yeah thats why. Thanks for 539 reads. Even though only like 7 of you are active. Does this story suck? Idk if it does please comment so i can fix what you don’t like :/ okay so enough of me!! Here ya go! Enjoy!! Vote & comment please!
Chase had carried Felicita in his arms all the way to the pack’s territory. She had been solid and emotionless. She looked around frantically but there was nothing she actually processed. Chase was worried that she would never get her back. For she-wolves they could heal because they sort of had twice as much as mental stability because of their inner wolves, but Felicita was only a mere human that wasn’t as strong as chase and his kind. The whole way there he had tried to whisper in her ear the more important things she needed to remember.
Her name was Felicita stone and she was 17 years old, she had 2 brothers and a mother. Her father had died and her soul mate, that was very much alive, is Chase tamer.
He had kept repeating that over and over again. But after a while she had crunched up her face and started to swat his hand away like a fly. He sighed, giving up. Temporarily, he thought.
Once they made it to his territory he mind linked the pack doctors and some warriors to get Felicita to safety and try to bring her back. They nodded and took her away after he lightly kissed her lips. He was extremely pissed about what those useless hunters have done to his mate.
Jake where are you? He asked.
Almost there, hold on. Jake responded.
Less than 20 seconds later a hazel brown wolf came into view. He was big, but not as big as an alpha. Purely a beta. Jake approached Chase and bowed his head in respect.
I was so worried. We were just a millisecond away from sending a search party. Some pack member said you and Felicita have been kidnapped I didn’t know what to do and I was trying to get the elderly, the women and children away, which I did do, and trying to find a defense attack. Jake said.
“if everyone is safe then proceed to let all the fighters fight. This wasn’t supposed to happen and I’m fucking enraged that it did. So we need to beat these fuckers.” Chase yelled. Everyone continue to fight the hunters until they surrender. I’m going to find their leader and try to talk him out. He mind linked every single fighter in this war.
In the distance chase spotted roger, a 25 year old fighter, he was trying to beat a hunter and had the hunter underneath him when another female hunter screamed and ran to him with a blade in her right hand. Clutching it tightly she ran over and stabbed his shoulder. Chase ran to roger quickly and ripped her off, flinging her into a big tree, knocking her out unconscious. He had always thought that if it wasn’t needed, or if he didn’t desperately want to, in an act of anger, killing someone wasn’t necessary.
Roger was howling in pain on the grass and the hunter got up. Chase ran over and grabbed his neck, lifting him off of the ground. Keeping his toes lightly brushing the floor as a tease of who was in control. “Where is your leader?” he growled.
“i don’t know, i don’t know i swear. He’s fighting, t-trying to get into the house i think.” He stuttered.
Chase growled and threw him into a tree. A branch sliced right through his lower abdomen. He hadn’t intended to do that but his wolf thought otherwise because he was howling with pride. Then he set off to find their leader.
Felicita was taken inside the pack house. They had an elevator built in inside the walls. Not all pack members knew about it, but when an emergency happened most were directed to go into those elevators and down to their security hide out. There was a very advanced access code that they had in order to get in. Certain people that chase thought were trustworthy knew about how to get in.
On their way down felicita started to get fuzzy thoughts. She was still emotionless and broken. The past hour she had seen everything around her. But it was all loopy. She found herself laughing inside but she didn’t know why. The feeling that consumed her was strange. She knew what was going on around her but another part of herself, the one that had more control of everything, had no idea and refused to acknowledge any of it.
When chase had died she had stared at a wall. Then a whole bunch of movement went around and a body was smashed against a wall. Soon after she was lifted out of her chair. She felt like she was floating. She wasn’t allowed to feel or know what was holding her but the small part of her felt safe and happy. It was like there were two people in her, one was small and only could tell the other her feelings. They both would bump heads sometimes and then they would both let out a loopy laugh.
The pack doctors had taken her down the elevator and into a medical room. There was much they could do since it was all like a hypnotizing drug. They didn’t know for sure how it was done but for the other she wolves they had waited for the drugs to ware off. But even then they were still a little crazy. They thought their mates were dead and went into depression.
They had to keep their mates away for a day or two because they didn’t want to overwhelm them. They learned the hard way that if they did then they can go into shock and have a heart attack from all the suspense. And a few times in the past some females had died. Then the males suffered and ended up dying. So they decided to keep the distanced.
Straps were required because at times they would go crazy and try to kill themselves.
Felicita just lay there and starred at the ceiling laughing in her head. She felt some moistness fall down her face. Then she couldn’t breathe except for a few deep gasps. She didn’t know what was happening. She faintly hears the doctors.
The doctors were trying to get her to hear them first. She was blocking them out and the first step was to try and get her to hear them.
“felicita, we need you to listen to our voices. Just follow them. Anything you hear. Try to grasp it to get back.” They said
No response.
“felicita whatever you saw with the alpha-” the doctors were shocked by her screaming.
Felicita had thought about chase. Then she remembered everything that happened and it hurt. She was engulfed with flames and it burned her everywhere. Her back arched off of the bed and she let out a scream. She was wildly moving her arms back and forth trying to run away. She had to get away from the memories. She desperately needed a razor.
The craving to feel anything else but this was there.
Blackness filled her vision and she fell and slept. She was numb everywhere. She still felt the pain but the bigger part of her was numb.
She just wished that chase was still her, even if she wasn’t.
