It was finally moon-set. I looked at the sky, and wriggled a little, but then something came to me in my head.
What's the point?! I'm going to die anyway, so afraid, feeble and alone. I need to stop lying to myself. I'm going to die one way or another. No wolf gets out alive. So I might as well make it now.
I closed my eyes, hoping for a quick death.
I was plopped down gently. The white female wolf gave me a smile. Not a smirk. A smile.
Last time I've seen a wolf smile at me was a million moons ago. I was looking for food and Daser the Siberian husky had given me some he'd found in a two-leg pale.
He told me that's where they'd throw out the spoiled food and the food that no one wanted.
Except animals, like us we want the food that you two-legs call "waste."
"What do you want? To kill me? Can you do it quick please?" I looked away and wrinkled my face.
The white wolf's ears drooped.
"No. I'm not here to hurt you, my cub."
"Then what?" I was getting impatient.
"I want you to come with me. Join my pack, and we can work together. As a pack."
I have nothing to lose. Except my life, maybe.
I followed the wolf and the alpha roared at her angry.
"What did you bring, a foreign dog wolf?!" He snapped angrily.
"I'm sorry Sa- I mean alpha."
"YOU CALL ME BY MY NAME AGAIN, I BITE YOUR HEAD OFF!"He roared.
"Okay got it! About the wolf... She was abandon, can we keep her?" She looked at her paws, panting nervously.
The alpha looked angry and was ready to charge...
