Everest POV
"Fight me hoe, fight me"
"I will slaughter your whole family"
Just in case you were wondering I am currently fighting a spider.
Bitch gonna come into my car and try to give me a heart attack. Like.... No.
I finally succeed in slaying the spider and if I may say I was slaying while doing so because I. Look. Good.
That's to bad though I feel like I'm wasting all my vivaciousness on nobody. I'm as single as the last pringle who just wants to mingle with somebody.
I make my way down the street when all of a sudden a little girl just pops up in the street. Good thing I have really good reflexes or the poor baby would have became one with the asphalt.
As I rush out the car to check on the little poppy I hear a male voice rushing over in a panic.
"What the fuck Kenny!" He yells looking her over for injuries. "You don't fucking run away from me when we're outside period. I don't care if you wanted ice cream your suppose to wait for me. I sho-"
"Dude tone it down." I say pushing him away from the child who now instead of a frightened look has tears falling down her cheeks.
"Who the hell are you!" He says screaming at me.
I look around like I know this big old rice crispy treat with hair is not talking to me like that. Looking like snap crackle and pop.
I count to ten in my head before responding as I know this can be stressful for him.
" Everest, the lady who just so happened to not hit your kid. Look, I understand that you are upset but your not going to make the situation any better by screaming at her and your definitely not going to make it better by cursing at her so tone it down ok." With that I bend down to the child's level while the father just looks at me dumbfounded.
" hey poppy are you ok. That could have been pretty nasty back there.....look stop crying I'm sure your daddy over here didn't mean to yell at you he was just upset. Besides pretty girls don't cry." I reach in my pocket and grab a five dollar bill handing it to her. " Take this and buy you and your daddy some ice cream. When you give it to him apologize for running off and give him a kiss on the cheek and I'm about 70% sure he won't be mad anymore. And remember to look both ways before crossing the street."
I watch the girl take her fathers outstretched hand and him nod at me in thankyou before continuing on to my home alone again.
At least I made it there without any spiders or little girls tossing themselves in front of my car.
