Elly's POV
Thousands of people started running out. There was a shooting. Me and Hunter stand back. "I gotta go get Kylee." I say as I start to panic. Hunter wraps his arms around me to calm me down. He strokes my hair and whispers "everything's going to be ok.". I call Kylee, no answer. I hear three more gun shots and by then the ambulance and police come. Me and hunter sit on the side until we see people getting pushed out on gurneys. Daniel and Zach walk out the mall, tears down there eyes. "Kylee...." Daniel pauses and before he can say anything we see Kylee on a gurney. Her leg was wounded. I ripped Hunter's arms off me and went to go follow Kylee. "No, No No No No..." My voice cracks as tears roll down my face one after the other. "She'll be fine." The man says. Caroline drives up. "I'll take you guys to the hospital." She says. Jacob finally walks out the mall with a disappointing look on his face. "I could of save...." No more words came out just tears. The whole car was silent. Hunter squeezes my hand and kisses it. Who knew I could be so happy and sad at the same time in my life. We get into the waiting room it's seems like we're there for hours. Kylee's mom finally get to the hospital as we are all hopelessly waiting for answers.
Jacob's POV
Everything seemed so fake. Like a dream almost. I just do want to see her in pain. The doctor walks in and whispers something to Kylee's mom. She seemed in relief. She wiped her tears and shook the doctor's hand. Everyone started to smile a bit since we were at the mall. Then Kylee mom came up to us and said we could go in and talk to Kylee. You have no idea how happy I was just to hear that she's still alive.
