Weeks went by, I got real sick. Miss Mary said I probably have a tape worm or some kind of stomach bug. "Let me come with you!" Ricky wanted to come to the hospital with Miss Mary and I but like I told him "I probably just have a stomach bug. The only reason Miss Mary is taking me to the hospital is to check if I have a tape worm, stay home and I'll tell you everything when I get back." I turn to leave. "Jessie.....wait." He turns me around and kisses me. *Hospital* "Do you want me to go in there with you?" Miss Mary asked. "Naa I'll be okay Miss Mary, when I'm done I'll tell you what the doctor says." "Okay Jessie.....you just let me know if you change your mind." I thought to myself, as I walked into the hospital. I had to wait forever before someone came to get me. "Hello, uhhhh...." "OH! I'm Jessie." "Jessie, hi i'm your doctor, Dr.Slouch. So what brought you here today?" I told Dr.Slouch that I haven't been feeling well and that i'm tired of throwing up. "Well, we will do some test and find out what's wrong."*Back in the car* "Soooo...." MIss Mary said as soon as I sat down in the car. "You were right, it was just a stomach bug that's goin' around." "Well that's good." We got home and I went to my room and closed the door." Ricky and the boys were asleep.*Morning* The boys wanted to go the park and play one last time before they left. Miss Mary had told us that morning that Todd and Thomas were being legally adopted today. "Are you okay Jessie? What did the doctor say yesterday?" Ricky looked worried. "It's just a stomach bug going around, i'm fine." "Jessie...." He gave me a look. "Ricky....." I looked at him for a minute. He has the prettiest brown eyes ever! He was beautiful everywhere....."I promise" I smiled at him. He put his arm around me and kissed my forehead. Then it was time, time for the boys to leave. I couldn't stop crying. "Jessie I know it's har....d but.." I went into my room. Ricky came in there. I was standing in the middle of room, not facing him.....not saying a word. "Jessie? I know your not okay.....Maybe you should just lie dow..." "positive" I whispered. "Positive? What does that mean?" I handed it to him...."Positive" I said again. A pregnacy test. He looked at it for a minute,....then he looked at me. His eyes were watering again, he smiled. "It's yours....." Before he said anything, he hugged me. "What are we gonna say to Miss Mary?" He looked at me again with those big beautiful brown eyes. I sobbed "I don't know." I started laughing. He started laughing. I had never been so happy in my life! "But I thought you couldn't.." I was so excited that I just kissed him and said..."I know, I know,I know but it happened and I couldn't be happier!" "Me too but, eventually Miss Mary is gonna find out." Oh yeah.....Miss Mary, my foster mother,......Ricky's foster mother.......
