Lucifer stood staring at the man's body jaw clinched, rage burning in his eyes, I shook uncontrollably as tears poured down my face. He closed his eyes for a moment then walked over grabbing a dirty old blanket from the floor walking back at placed it over me before he cut me free, I sat up and ripped the tape from my mouth then quickly tried to rub the blood off my face as I continued to sob. Lucifer sat on the end of the bed staring at the floor for a minute before he quietly spoke "I'm sorry for the mess, but he had to suffer." he said still looking down I looked at him for a moment before I lunged myself forward wrapping my arms around his neck sobbing even harder into his shoulder, he gently wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed the side of my head "I'm so sorry." I whimpered through my tears "shh, don't, just calm down." he said softly with his face still against my head. I felt him fixing the blanket wrapping it around me like a towel, I sat back and looked up at him "what are you doing?" I asked "I'm fixing the blanket, I know how modest you are and I don't want to see you like this anyway." he smiled a little, I began to laugh "what? Why are you laughing at me." he asked raising a eyebrow "just out of everything your worried about my modesty. Lucifer is worried about my modesty." I laughed with a small snort "Ok ok calm down, your in shock, here let's get you back to your room." he said standing up, I stood up then felt a little woozy, he quickly grabbed me and we were back in my room "here sit down." he said helping me to the sofa. I sat down my body began to shake again as the events of a moment ago replayed in my head tears fell down my cheeks. Lucifer walked over with a washcloth in hand and sat beside me "here let me," he muttered whiping some of the blood off my face I grabbed his hand and smiled up at him "thank you," I said, he smiled at me "hey I started you a shower so if you want," I interrupted him "thank you, I'll be right back," I said standing up "please don't leave me?" I asked looking down at him "I won't I'll be right here." he said with a nod.

I walked out of the bathroom and looked around and almost panicked when I didn't see him, "hey you feel better?" he asked walking towards me with a drink in hand. I sighed with relief "you ok?" he questioned handing me the glass "I just thought you left that's all." I said taking a drink "oh I see." he said looking down "I'm sorry I just panicked a little nothing bad, and I want to really apologize for what I said-" I said before lucifer interrupted "please don't, I deserved it and I should be the one apologizing anyway. I know who I am, and I know my reputation but-" he sighed running a hand through his hair, I stepped closer to him and placed my hand on his chest "why did you save me?" I questioned looking up at him "I, um," he closed his eyes with a sigh "you won't believe me." he frowned looking away "I might, you could always just tell-" he quickly grabbed me his arms pressed tightly into my shoulder blades, his cheek rested against mine for a moment before my heart skipped at the words he whispered in my ear "I love you." the glass fell from my hand as the sound of it breaking made me jerk a little. I thought for a moment but as I began to speak "I know you don't believe me, but I do and it hurts so much to think that you hate me I can't stand it anymore." he whispered holding on a little tighter. "lucifer," I muttered pulling back from him, I stared him in the eyes for a second "do you really mean that?" I questioned tears filling my eyes, he smirked awkwardly and looked down at the ground "yes I do." he mumbled under his breath "I love you." I said softly tears trickling down my face, he looked back up at me quickly "say it again." he whispered "I love you." I said slowly, he closed his eyes at my words as a smile spread across his face before he quickly kissed me.
