Colby's blue eyes darted around as he made his way through the maze of alleyways. He sighs in relief as he enters a large alley way that leads out to a meadow. He jogs towards the metal chain fences, a warm breeze touched his face as he did. He stops as he saw shadow sitting on the rim of the fence.
"Oh hey Colby", he grins and hops down from his perch. "I told you not to call me by my real name" , he narrows his eyes and Ruffles shadows hair. "Hey!" Shadow paused "wait, I know that look on your face. What happened?" He asked. Colby looks at him, he had blue eyes like him just slightly darker. His hair combed over his face on the left, but I didn't cover all his face up.
"I found Austin but oth-"
"Hold up you found Austin?"  Shadow blurted out. "Shut up! They don't know that yet", Colby frantically whispers. "You know the Kings are probably looking for her, I think it's best if we tell Alpha", shadow shrugs. Colby rubs the back of his head "I'll think about it, but you can't tell anyone. Alright?"
"Fine", shadow yawns "I've been doing scouting all day! Maybe you can cover me?" He looks at him and slightly smiles.
Colby face palmed himself "ugh, alright". "Yes!" Shadow cries as he jumps up, as he jumps the sleeve from his blue and grey jacket got caught in a trap wire. He narrows his eyes as Colby laughs, he sighs and frees himself. He jumps on Colby from behind and drags him down to the ground.
"Who's laughing now?" He said as he bends over and hovers over his face, he closed his eyes and he smiles. Colby rolls his eyes "real funny", he says as he got up. Shadow steps away as he hears a commotion.
"We need to keep  her!" Someone yells. Colby and shadow looked at each other, shadow looks at all the Eternals gang people. He saw the trainings scattering all over the place.
"This doesn't look good"
Colby nods in agreement. "We better find out what's happening!" He yells as he jumps over the fence. "Hey wait up!" Shadow yells as he quickly follows. They pushed through the large group of people. Shadow halted to a stop, Colby came out behind him. His eyes widened, there sitting on her knees with her hands tied behind her back, was Austin. Shadow watched as he saw Alpha pull out a whip, he snaps it in the air and a loud crack was heard. Silence quickly came after the crack, Austin looks at shadow and Colby. "What's going on" she mouthed, Colby looks at Alpha. "Don't you dare hurt her!" Shadow yells boldly. "She's one of us!" Colby pipes up, Alpha looks at them then at Austin. He didn't say anything for a little while.
"I know", he says calmly. Shadows eyes widen. "How did he know that? Who told him?" Colby whispers to shadow. Shadow looks down "I- I did".
