Hey guys! I hope you like it so far, I'm trying to keep it as interesting as I possibly can. Do you guys like how I keep it in big description paragraphs or do you prefer it simple? Let me know what you think about it so far and how I can improve in my further writing.

I woke up to yelling and loud bangs. I looked over to my left and the time was 7:30. Who would be awake at this time? It's Saturday! I realised who was yelling, it was Luke. He seemed really pissed. I got out of bed and slowly opened my door and crept to the stairs where I eavesdropped. "How the fuck could you do this to me?" Luke yelled following with a loud bang. It sounded like he had punched something. The thing with Luke is that he liked to punch stuff when he was angry, it's like an automatic reflex for his emotions. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. What can I do to make it up to do?" A familiar voice said. Ah what was her name? Britney! "How about you get the fuck out of my house and life." Luke grabbed her and lightly pushed her to the front door which he had opened for her. "No Luke, please don't do this. I'm so sor-" Britney sobbed. Luke had cut her off by slamming the door in her face and locking it so she couldn't barge in and express her sorrow. "Fuck" Luke said to himself and sat at the end of the staircase. I slowly crept down behind him and placed a hand on his back. "I'm sorry Don, did we wake you?" Luke said in a sympathetic voice. "That doesn't matter. Are you okay?" I replied.

"Yeah just it's hard to let go of her."

"Just think to yourself that she broke your heart and cheated on you. It's for your own good that you get over her." I could tell he was hurt and I couldn't understand why she would cheat on him in the first place.

"Luke, do things that make you happy. Avoid her. Forget about her. Gradually you won't even care about her."

"Well do you want to do something today?" He politely asked and looked up at me.

Inside I was ecstatic but in person I tried to play it cool. "Ah yeah sure. I don't think I have anything planned." I pulled out my phone checking if I had made any plans I forgotten about. No, my day was free and I saw I had finally gotten a reply from Anna. 'Don't tell anyone ok but I'm seriously crushing on your brother!!!' What? Anna liked Luke? I felt my heart sink into my stomach and then began to feel jealous. Then I told myself not to worry because Luke was way out of Anna's league and he would never be interested in her. I figured out how to

reply which was 'oh really.. Y? He doesn't really want a gf.' I was clearly jealous.

"Don!" Luke said while grabbing my arm.

"Oh sorry, I was just replying to Anna."

"She's weird that girl."

"How?"

"At school on Thursday she was rushing to class and accidentally bumped into me and her books went flying everywhere, so I helped pick them up and handed them to her."

"And?"

"She ran away!" He chuckled.

"Typical Anna. You know, she kinda likes you. Why don't you date her?" I said in a convincing way but it was a test, I didn't actually want him to get with my best friend.

"Hell no. She's okay but she's not my type at all!" Yes! Just the words I wanted to hear.

"I agree" I said while releasing a giggle.

"What do you want to do?" Luke asked. I suggested to reorganise my room because I've been wanting to for some time now, and it would be great having an extra hand to help.

He agreed and we both walked upstairs.

I signed "shit". "What's the matter Don?" Luke said over from across the room. "This bloody shelf is stuffed." Luke came over and studied the busted shelf. "That's no problem. Wait here." He left the room and returned holding a screwdriver and some screws. He was such a handy guy and he fixed the shelf with no problem at all. "Thanks Luke" I flashed him an appreciative smile. "Any time." He returned the smile.
