WINDBLOWN████████████████████
████████████████████Aspen Montgomery was never one for adventure. Quiet, studious, and slightly boring were words she often heard others use to describe her, and honestly, she couldn't agree more. Living in her upper east side estate with her parents taught her one simple thing - to be seen and not heard. So Aspen followed that rule her entire life, that is, until the air in her lungs felt like it was slowly escaping and life seemed to drain out of her body day by day.
So she escaped - with the help of a friend, of course.
Though just as rich and just as elite as Aspen, Weston Lloyd wouldn't necessarily call himself a friend of hers. Perhaps good pals once ago, the two can no longer have a normal conversation without glancing downwards or simply vacating a room.
So when Weston and Aspen are forced to drive nearly three thousand miles to L.A, neither of them expect the adventure ahead.
Car crashes.
Rain filled arguments.
And a little bit of love.

"Why do you go away? So that you can come back. So that you can see the place you came from with new eyes and extra colors. And the people there see you differently, too. Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving."

dedicated to kay (artskayyyy ) because before this issue of "Windblown" there was another, much worse addition, and she seemed to be one of my few supporters, which I'm eternally grateful for. so cheers to kay, all that she is, and all that she will ever be.

Welcome to the new and improved version of "Windblown"! Honestly, I can't express to you guys just how excited I am for this story. I already have about 3-4 chapters written so there is no going back, and that makes me really happy. Please comment as much as you can down below - don't be shy! I really do enjoy reading them and hearing your opinions on characters, plot, etc.
Other than that, I hope that you're all enjoying the hot month of July, and have a great week!
