"Tony?..."
Tony had a blank expression at the moment. "Iron Man is no more," he was thinking to himself. Tony Stark has been Iron Man for as long as he could remember. It was part of him. He and the suit were one, now he feels as if half of him is foregone.
"Tony..," Pepper says again, trying to get him to snap out of whatever he is in.
"Huh."
"What were you so concentrated on? I asked you what movie do you want to watch tonight."
Still a little fuzzy on what Pepper was talking about, he looked around the room and found that the tv was on, set on a search guide for movies. Remembering that he planned this little romantic date for two to apologize, he snapped out of his confusion, not wanting to upset Pepper any further.
"Oh, uh. Choose anything you want. I'll watch anything you want to watch."
"Okay, deal. I won't make you watch any of that lovey dovey stuff tonight, hah."
"Anything you want Pepper."
Two claps. The room goes dark. The movie is starting and the room is filled with the surround sound of the oncoming previews.
