"Tony! Wake up!"
Pepper had suddenly woken up to find a trembling Tony, having a nightmare. When she was watching the movie she had put on, Tony had fallen asleep and began dreaming, which quickly turned into a nightmare. She did not know what to do. For awaking him might put him into even deeper confusion and pain.
She decided to anyways.
"Tony! Wake up! It was just a nightmare. Are you okay?"
Tony opens his eyes quickly and very wide. He suddenly jerks upright.
"Pepper!"
"Hey honey, are you okay?"
"You..and Rhodes were hurt. And-and I couldn't reach you guys."
"I'm here and in perfect condition Tony."
"I know but..."
"Tony...?"
"Ya?"
Silence.
"Pepper?"
Tony turns towards the side of the bed where Pepper sleeps.
Silence.
