"As you know, my son," said Emperor Vader, "I am now the Emperor, so you will be the new face of The Empire. Once we get off of Korriban, you will be the new Supreme Commander and will lead an attack on the rebels." Darth Vader and Darth Nero had been on Korriban for about a week, training. Nero was far from completely his training, but he had come very far in the dark side since that day on Bespin. He had learned the basics of saberstaff combat: the art of using a double sided lightsaber. Although he could not yet produce dark side lightning from his hand, he felt he was getting close.
"We are leaving Korriban. Now." Said Vader. This surprised Nero greatly. "We will continue your training on Coruscant, but it is urgent we leave now. We have just received the location of the rebels, and this time we believe we can wipe them out completely."
Nero did not argue with his master; he was still new to The Empire. He did not argue with Vader. So they left the temple, and, after another long hike through the harsh planet, the two Sith Lords made it back to the ship, which took them back to Coruscant.
When they landed, they landed far away from the crowds, near a quieter entrance to the Imperial Palace. There were personal quarters for The Emperor, and there was of course, Nero's Castle. Vader suggested that Darth Nero visit in his castle before preparing to fight the rebels.
Nero made his way to his castle. When he approached the door, he observed it to be very large, and very old and rusted. He stepped through the front entrance and made his way to the heart of the caste where he found the door to Bader's personal quarters. As he opened the door, the thought had occurred to him that Vader had never used this room. After all, he was always in his Star Destroyer, tracking down the rebels. Besides, what's the point at having a bed room, if your a cyborg? Vader doesn't need to sleep; at least not in a bed. He had special capsules aboard his ship that let his body recharge. They were large, black objects that opened at the middle. He didn't know the name for them yet(he hadn't asked), but he had seen them aboard Vader's Star Destroyers.
Still, as he stared into the room, he had to think Vader had to have used the room a little bit. But it didn't look like his father had ever used the room. It looked as if it had been prepared for his master to use it, but Nero didn't think Vader had ever stepped foot in it. It was dark and gloomy, with an old bed that had once been very beautiful. Everything in the room had the symbol of The Galactic Empire on it. From the bed to cabinets and a closet. Nero wondered what use Vader had for cabinets and a closet. Frankly, he didn't know why Vader needed a bed. What use did my father have for any of this while he was the apprentice to Palpatine? He wondered.
Nevertheless, he walked into the room and sat on the bed. This didn't seem right. Not for a Sith Lord. He was one of the most powerful dark side users in the Galaxy; and here he was, sitting on the side of a bed, in his bedroom. It didn't seem right.
Sith Lords don't need this stuff, He thought. But he had to remember that not only was he a Sith Lord, but a government official; and a very important one, at that. He was the second most important individual in The Empire, and the direct successor to his father, Emperor Vader. Nero was now as much involved in politics as he was The Force.
Darth Nero could imagine politicians needing beds and cabinets much easier than Sith Lords needing them. His father had said it himself: Now that he was Emperor, Nero would become the new Supreme Commander; leader The Empire into battle against enemy forces such as The Rebels.
