Leia's K-Wing was soaring through hyperspace, flying at the speed of light. Dagobah was a good distance away, so it would take a long time to get there. She would've preferred to fly in the Millennium Falcon, but Lando was using it to search for survivors on the battlefield. The small cockpit of the K-Wing was very uncomfortable. She could fly a ship, but she was no Han or Luke.
She had also been given an astromech droid. R2-D2 was still with the rebels, so she had been given an orange and black droid called R7-D2.
"Well... R7, isn't it?" Leia asked the droid. R7 beeped happily in reply. "Let's hope this clunky ship can make it all the way there.
"Brrrrrr-Breeb!" Replied R7. Leia took this to mean "I'll try my best."
Finally, Leia slowed the ship down, taking it out of hyperspace. She saw the big green surface of the planet. It didn't look anything like her home planet of Alderaan. As far as she could tell, it looked completely free of any civilization.
As the ship descended into the atmosphere, Leia saw that it was a very swampy planet. It had a misty air to it, with many bodies of water and large trees with very strange looking vines. She slowed down to land, but could find no land to settle on. So she planted the ship in the shallowest lake she could find.
She opened the hatch on the K-Wing, and the door swung upwards. She climbed out, and carefully placed her foot in the murky water. The water was moving slowly, and it was a dark shade of green, with many different strange life forms in it.
"Bleep-Breep?" Said R7.
"No, you stay in the ship. I don't know how safe a droid would be in these waters." Replied Leia.
R7 beeped sadly, but did what he was told. Leia walked forwards a few steps. It was hard to move her feet in these waters. She still couldn't find any land. She started to climb a leave tree next to her. When she got to the top, she looked out in the distance. There was land, but it was a good distance away. Leia sighed, but she jumped down from the tree and started to slowly walk towards her destination.
It seemed to take at least half an hour, but she finally got to the section of rock that would have to serve as a resting spot. She sat down on a large Boulder pretending from the ground, breathing heavy and sweating hard.
She started to feel lonely. She was exhausted(while she had walked further than that, the thick water made it feel four times as long) and in need of someone to talk to. She wished she had brought R7.
She looked around, surveying her swampy surroundings. But suddenly she heard a voice.
"Your ship... bigger than your brothers, it is." Leia spun around. A small, green creature was standing behind her on a fallen tree trunk. It had large ears, thinning, graying hair, and a small cloak on. It was leaning on a small wooden staff. It also had large eyes, and a strange, goofy smile.
"But no harder to lift, will it be, hm? For with the power of the force," and the creature whispered the last few words: "nothing is impossible."
Leia stared at the creature. It stared back. Leia's eyes widened. The creature's eyes widened. Then the strange creature laughed a clownish chuckle, and started to slowly advance towards her.
"The force?" Asked Leia.
"The force." Confirmed the creature, nodding.
Then something clicked inside Leia's mind.
"Master Yoda?" Asked Leia.
"Ahhhh" Said the creature, his mouth slightly open, nodding at Leia. "Your insight... serves you well, it does."
