Cure For Love

----------The Next Day At School----------

"Hey Bruce, can we talk."

"Yeah sure whats up Pam" He got closer to her and looked at her

She grabbed his wrist and pulled him outside, on the verge of crying "I'm different." She said staring at the ground

"Its alright to be different Pam thats what makes you special" He said trying to comfort her

"I mean I have powers" she said slightly pushing him way "I am Mother Nature!" She slightly yelled in an angry, scared tone

He was a little shocked but not scared since they been friends for so long and he knew the real her "Some people are different than others and you can help the world in so many ways with that"

"If I kiss people, I kill them Bruce." She said upset "I'm never going to be able to love anyone." A single tear rushed down her face

He put his hand on her cheek "You dont need to kiss someone to love them and besides there has to be something that makes the other person immune to it, i actually been working on something like that in chemistry"

"I also have Pharamones-- how am I supposed to know if the love is actually real" she   Was distressed and she fell on the ground, it was so hard to tell him-- he was the first and only person who had ever cared about her

He held her close on the ground "Pam you will know when someone loves you for real i promise" He hugged her feeling bad for her cause he cared

She wrapped her arms and cried "I'm sorry Bruce." She felt hoped "I'm the worst friend, you shouldn't have to clean up all my messes"

"Its fun cause i get to be right there with you so i dont mind" He held her in his arms tightly

"Im going to miss you." She brushed her hand on his face and held him tightly "I love you." She got up and began to run the other direction. She thought she'd never be accepted in society-- so she decided to run from her problems

He didn't want her to leave him or run away so he chased after her "Pamela dont go please, you're very special to me and i think you are perfect just the way you are"
"Come with me!" She yelled. She felt so hopeless, she didn't want to be a superhero or anything like that

He ran to her catching up "Ok im with you till the end of the line Pam" He stood right next to her

Pamela grabbed his hand and ran to her house, it was a trailer home and she lived alone

He went inside looking around "Hey how come you live alone?"

"I don't have any parents-- you know the feeling" she said grabbing a bottle of water from the mini fridge "except it was abandonment."

"Oh yes i know what you're going through Pam but you cant just run away from everything" He sat on her couch

"I don't want to be a super hero though." She said taking a sip of her water "I don't want to be like Wally or Barbara or Dick or any of them."

"You dont have to be, just be with me and you won't have to be with them, Pam i want you to move in with me at Wayne Manor"

"I think I'll take you up on your offer." She sighed "but I am NOT going back to school

"Thats fine you dont have to if you dont want to, you're a smart girl and im just happy i get to see you everyday now" He laughed and smiled with joy

She gave him a small smile "how soon can I move in?" Her eyes sparkled just a bit from the tears she had just shed. She ran up to him an gave him a hug "thank you." She said under her breath
