"I'll have the small mozzarella and a beer." Niall ordered at one of the fanciest pizza restaurant's Emilia had ever been in."Same as him." Harry nodded, handing his menu in.
"Could I have the medium ham and pineapple and a large water." Louis paused, turning to Emilia, "We'll share the pizza and could we have an apple juice?"
"Is that all?" the waitress, a girl in mid teens with the restaurant's uniform on. "Yes thank you." Harry spoke for the group as the girl left.
"I didn't want apple," Emilia complained slamming her hand onto the table in frustration and glaring up at her father before Louis turned to her with a stern expression on his face, one eyebrow raised. "I don't care Emilia Ricci, you will drink or go thirsty, I really don't care, you drink what I tell you to," he said sternly bringing her chin back up to look at him when she went to glare down at the table half-way through. "Do you understand?" he asked and she nodded replying, "Yes Papa." He knew that, that was a bit harsh but she needed to learn to listen and he wanted her to get a healthy diet. The three adults continued talking quietly to each other as the little girl sat at the table stared around the restaurant trying to pick up little bits of English she could understand.
"Everyone talks so fast in this country." Emilia winged as she pouted, "I barely understand."
Louis smirked, "Try your best love." He put a protective arm round her shoulders as two men dressed all in black with black leather jackets to hide their huge bodies, seeing the three men and making their way over past the man who would seat them and straight over, sliding into the booth at each side so that Ella was closest to the wall facing Niall, Harry beside him and Louis beside her with the new people on each side.
The waitress returned in record time, placing down the meals in the right places before looking at the two new men, "Can I get you an–"
"No. They're not staying." Louis said quickly. "Sure..." The woman nodded, "Hope you enjoy your meal." the waitress replied before Louis replied, "Thank you."
"What did she say?" Ella asked in a quiet voice as the woman left, quiet enough for just Niall to hear. "She just hoped we would enjoy our meal." Niall translated.
"Enjoy the meal?" Ella asked. He nodded. "Right." She understood, watching Louis cut up their shared meal and place two slices onto a side dish for her. "Tell me if you're still hungry." Louis said to his child, "And keep quiet while I talk to these men." Both new men were curious about Ella but didn't voice it at all, knowing better than to talk through Louis.
"I don't think it's a good deal." Louis said to the first man, "Five thousand pounds for only 1000g?"
"But you'd sell it on at 10g for one hundred and fifty so you'd have a profit."
"I'm not happy."
"What would you rather?"
"Three thousand for 1050g."
"That's out of the question." The man shook his head.
"It's hardly a class A." Harry spoke, Emilia not understanding a word. "If it isn't class A then why do you want it?" the second big man asked. "It isn't your place to ask that." Louis said sharply, "And you, mate, still owe me money so don't think you're in any place to bargain."
"You're an idiot Tomlinson." the first man shook his head.
Emilia glanced up, not sure why Louis wasn't angered by the comment, especially when more profanities were being hurled at her dad.
It was then that Emilia realised he was speaking Italian and the quick but cheeky native wasted no time in answering, speaking very, very fast and very, very angrily in the first language she knew, "Do not speak about my dad like that."
