Chapter 3

The sun set as Ralph stood up to make his way back into the jungle to find some sort of shelter...but in the corner of his eye he saw lights, it looked like sticks had been stuck to the ground making some sort of path.
"What the?" Ralph made his way to the end of the beach where torches stood, creating a path. He walked into the jungle along the path, when he got to the end of the path he found a newly made hut with a wolf skin door. It looked like a two man hut.
"Odd" Ralph thought.
He then felt arms wrapping around his waist from behind him. Ralph widened his eyes, could this be Roger? Is this where Ralph was going to die?
"Do you like it...." A familiar voice whispered in Ralph's ear but he couldn't figure out who it was.
"Who this is?"
"I'm your best dream, your worst nightmare..." The whisper said.
"You fucking prick..." Ralph turned around to see Jack, with the biggest smirk on his face.
Ralph laughed and gave him a playful shove.
"Well, do you?"
"I love it..." Ralph turned to look at the hut.
"You better, It took me a lot of time to build that bloody thing" Jack folded his arms "But since I love you so so much I made it.."
"You're cute"
"I know" Jack grinned as he grabbed Ralph's hand and led him towards it.
"I'll show you inside, come on"
"So you didn't leave did you?"
"Nope, I went towards the beach but then saw you at the platform, it was hard not to go lay down next to you and watch the sunset. So I decided to build this instead. I can't believe you didn't see me making those bloody torches, you know I burnt myself countless times making them!"
"But you love me so so much, so you don't mind"
Jack rolled his eyes and smiled at him. Jack stood behind Ralph and covered Ralph's eyes.
"I want it to be a surprise.." Jack led Ralph into the hut.
"Three, two, one..." Jack took his hands away and Ralph looked so shocked, Jack found it hilarious.
The hut was small, but so cosy. There was a pile of fruit near the entrance, a double bed made from leaves and branches in the middle of the back wall and there were some coconut shells full of water places carefully on the other side of the entrance.
"You absolute bastard" Ralph pouted "This is frickin' amazing!!" Ralph hugged Jack tightly.
"I love you Ralphie"
"I love you too Merridew"

Roger's P.O.V
"Where's Jack?" I asked one of the boys, he widened his eyes at me.
"Umm I don't know sir..."
"Well you should bloody know!!" I raised my voice and he backed away quickly then ran away.
"Fuckin' kids these days.." I sat down on a rock and shook my head.
"You okay Roger? You seem a bit worked up.." Maurice snickered.
"You could say that again..." I bowed my head, Maurice bent down and rubbed my shoulder.
"It's gonna be okay Roger.."
"Not without Jack here... WHERE THE BLOODY HELL IS HE?" I roared as a stood up.
"Probably with Ralphie boy"
"Ralph?"
"Yeah I saw him going off before, said he was going to go hunting but that was when the sun was up..."
"Fucking Merridew can't keep it in his pants can he?" Maurice shrugged his shoulders.
"Of course he can't you bloody idiot! Always chasing after Ralph.. god help me.." I shook my head.
"What you going to do about it?"
"I'll look for him in the morning, can't be bothered tonight."

Ralph gleamed as he pushed me onto the bed, it kinda hurt but I didn't care at this point.
"When did you start having feelings for me?" Ralph kept the smirk on his face as he straddled me.
"Well, ever since I saw you really..." I felt my cheeks redden.
"D'awww.." I went even redder... for fuck sake you're supposed to be tough Merridew...
I smiled and brought him into a warm embrace, he rested his head on my shoulder.
We sat like this for a while, until Ralph fucking fell asleep, what an idiot.
"Umm Ralph..." I poked him, he awoke abruptly.
"Nooo I wanna sleep..." Ralph groaned softly, so no action tonight then... damn.
"Okay" I lay back allowing Ralph to lay on top of me, I slowly closed my eyes.
