Ralph and I hurried back to the hut.
"Bloody hell, I don't think I want to go outside again..." Ralph slouched down on our makeshift bed.
"Hey listen, I'll go hunting later on, you can stay here.." I rubbed his shoulder in comfort.
"I don't want you to leave me Merridew..."
"Well either that or we starve.."
"Fine.." Ralph sighed, "I guess I'll be okay.."
"Roger won't come back, he'll be busy hunting too.."
"That's what I'm worried about"
"Hey, listen I'll be fine" I smiled reassuringly.
"Okay, I'll go gather some twigs to build up the hut, to strengthen it"
"Sounds like a good plan, now be careful okay"
"I'll be fine MerrridEW" He rolled his eyes at me.
"Ew you.." I smirked as I picked up my spear and headed for the door.
"Kiss me before you go.."
"Cheeky.." I quickly kissed his cheek and left, hoping he'd be okay.
"Oh thank you kind sir, now leave peasant"
"Bye Ralph"
"Bye MerridEW!" I heard him shout as I walked away from the hut.

"Ralph?"
Ralph jumped "Bloody hell Maurice! You scared the shit out of me!"
"I'm so so sorry, so so sorry Ralph"
"About what?"
"About Roger.."
"I don't even want to talk about him..." He turned his head away.
"He has problems Ralph"
"No shit sherlock!"
"We need to help him!"
"ARE YOU CRAZY?! You realise he wants to kill me!"
"No he doesn't, his demons do"
"Demons? Ahahaha very funny Maurice" Ralph rolled his eyes but I grabbed his arm.
"Please..." Tears began to form in my eyes, I really do care about Roger.
"Fine, you'll have to wait until Jack gets back as he is hunting at the moment.."
"Oh okay..can I wait in your hut? It's really cool by the way.."
"Thanks Maurice but Jack made it, I'm just collecting branches to strengthen it.." He giggled and I did too, I really did miss being close to Ralph. Roger has definitely got worse since the beginning, I'm so worried about him. I know everyone thinks he's a psycho and yeah he might be but it isn't just him! It's the voices! I've tried telling SamnEric but they don't understand... no one did. Hopefully Jack will... only time will tell I guessed.
