I walked to my locker after my horrid lunch. Right when I got to it, I spotted movement out of the side of my eye.
"Yo, prissy boy!" I turned to the harsh voice to see a large man towering over me.
"Um... Yes?" I questioned, trying not to show how intimidated I was.
"You took our table at lunch, idiot!" He then to got uncomfortably close to me.
"Well, actually, no one was sitting at that table." I backed up into my locker, but I had my glaring eyes locked onto the grumpy dude's face.
"What did you say?" Mr. Huge then proceeded to grab me by the shoulders and slammed me into my locker.
I gasped from the abrupt pain that ran through my spine. When I was about to do something, I heard a annoyingly familiar voice. Strangely, this time, it wasn't as annoying.
"Hey, man that wasn't actually your table." Mr. Huge turned toward the voice right as I did the same.
Our eyes landed on none other than the guy who had invited me to sit with him a short time prior to this sticky situation.
"What do you want, Jackson?!" All attention was now on the guy, who apparently was named Jackson.
"Well... I'm trying to stop you from killing my buddy." He smiled while gesturing toward me.
Who does he think he is? I am not his 'buddy!'
"Pssh! This piece of shiz doesn't deserve to be helped." Mr. Huge scoffed.
Jackson then stepped extremely close to the giant dude, and even though he was shorter than the monster, he was pretty terrifying.
"Get away from him or I'll make sure to shove your head so far up your butt that you wouldn't even be able to sit down at your 'precious table.'" Jackson said with an innocent smile.
With very wide eyes, Mr. Huge then proceeded to step away from us and speedily walk away from Jackson and me.
"Well what a caring person!" Jackson chuckled.
"Uhh thanks I guess." I turned around to begin walking away, but Jackson reach out and placed his hand on my shoulder. "What is it?" I then asked.
"Well I think you owe me for my helpful services." He said cheekily.
I cringed at his statement. "How much do you want?" I said as I began to search for my wallet in my pants pocket.
"No, I don't want any money," he laughed, "I want to be entertained."
"I'm not a very entertaining person."
"You don't need to be. Just tell me stories about your life or something." Jackson smiled with his overly white teeth that hurt my eyes to look at.
"Well my life is weird and I doubt you would like my family. They're not very, how do I say this, friendly. Neither am I to be perfectly honest." I looked up at Jackson who stood about 10 inches taller than me.
"Well if you were made by them I doubt they can be that bad!" His dimples cratered into his cheeks.
I found myself blushing; partially because it was hot in the school, but also because of Jackson's interesting compliment.
"Thanks," I fake smiled at him. "Umm well I actually have to go... Bye now." I lazily smile.
"Wait a minute! What about my entertainment?" Jackson pouted.
"Maybe later because I'm way to tired from almost getting killed 5 minutes ago."
"Well then I'll make sure to see you around!" The tall boy said with a wink.
I shuddered from being so uncomfortable.
This was going to be a long, long year.
