"Zaharias, darling, get ready for school." My father said as he pushed open the door that lead into my bedroom.
"Sure." I reluctantly pulled my bed comforter off of my body.
My parents hated the fact that I looked rather feminine. They made it out like it was my fault.
They wanted me to be a strong, masculine-looking person who would meet a wonderful woman to marry and have children with someday.
It is strange that I wanted to please them.

We just moved, so I had to go to a new high school now... Fantastic... But the seriously annoying part was that it was my first time at a public school.
I can honestly say that I'm a stereotypical rich boy, so my parents thought that going to a public school would be a "new and good experience for me."
So here I was, walking through the double doors that lead into my new school. Sigh.
I wore a light blue button-up shirt that was tucked into my black jeans, and a navy blue tie to go along with it, so I was instantly looked at and judged by many other students.
Ugh, it's ok, Zaharias. Just get to the main office to get you locker number and schedule. I did just that.
"Hello, I'm a new student and I'm here to get my locker number and my class schedule." I said when I walked up to the front desk.
A lady, who looked a little too happy to be at work, seated down behind the desk, looked up at me. "Oh hi there, young man! What is your name? I'll get your things for you right away."
"My name is Zaharias Cross. I'm a junior."
"Ok then, I'll be one second." She said as she got up from her chair and walked into another room right next to the desk.
I sighed and sat down in one of the office chairs that was placed in front of the giant desk.
I hope she gets my things fast, because I hate being late to my classes.
After about three minutes, the woman came back to sit in her chair. She then handed me my schedule and locker number with its combination. "Here you go, Mr. Cross. Have a great first day, and come back here if you ever need any help!"
I smiled and thanked her before leaving to get to my locker.
After I organized all my things, I walked to my first class. Since I got to school early, I was on time for first period which was... Health class. Ughhh.
I pushed open the door to room 210 to see two dozen pairs of eyes that glared my way. I've always hated being the center of attention.
"Ahh, you must be our new student Zaharias. Please have a seat." My teacher said as he gestured to an open desk at the back of the room.
As I walked towards my new seat, all the eyes on me belonged to people who all had the same, blank expression... Well almost all of them. There was one person who smiled brightly at me with his nice, bright white teeth.
It irritated me greatly.

My extremely torturous classes were almost over and it was time for my lunch period.
I had never actually been in a cafeteria such as this... It was crowded, stuffy, and so so so so (so) loud.
As I stepped into the terrible room they called a cafeteria, I was halted by a deep, irritating voice.
"Hey, guy! Come over and sit with us, k?"
I glanced in the direction from where I heard the voice. My glaring eyes landed on a boy.
He was the smiley boy from my first period class.
I pointed at myself with questioning eyes.
"Yes, you! Silly!" He shouted while pushing his fluffy dark hair out of his eyes.
I then spotted an empty seat at a table that was not too crowded. I cringed at the disgusting tables across the room and after weighing my options, I chose not to sit next to Smiley.
"Hey, man... Where ya goin'" his speech was muffled when I began to walk off towards the other side of the torture chamber.
I'm so done with public schools.
