The second I saw his lips on hers I dropped Tanners arm and ran past them towards the women's bathroom. My heart was beating a million miles a minute, and tears were quickly rushing to my eyes.

"Bella!" I heard Tanner call from behind me.

But I didn't turn back, I just continued walking until I hit the bathroom.

Once I was securely inside I leaned back against the sink and let the tears pour from my eyes. Honestly I was confused, in the past I would never let a boy get to me like this, but suddenly with Connor I have all these unexplainable feelings. And to make it all worse, they all seemed pretty one sided!

'They're not, one sided! His wolf feels it too! He loves us! I can sense it!'

My wolfs voice in my head startled me, she hadn't spoken to me in so long I almost forgot she was even there!

'Come on!' I started 'If he really felt even half of what I feel for him then he wouldn't be able to resist me!

My wolf didn't answer me after that, which really pissed me off! What does she think? That she can just pop in and out whenever she pleases? I know she's upset, but we're both going through this, not just her!

Suddenly the bathroom door opened. I quickly turned my back to the door and busied my self by dabbing my cheeks with a wet paper towel.

"Do you get it now?" A voice asked.

The voice sent chills down my spine. It was truly a beautiful voice!

"Do I get what?" I asked as I turned around to face him.

His blue eyes hit me like a ton of bricks. I knew they were pretty and all, but they're beauty seems to take me by surprise each time again!

"How serious I am, about the rejection! Is it clear?" he asked.

I nodded my head "Crystal!"

And with that he walked out of the bathroom, leaving me alone again.

Bring on round two of the waterworks!

"What did he say to you?" Tanner asked once I came out of the women's bathroom. He was waiting right outside for me, too scared to actually walk in. For a big bad wolf, he sure was a scaredy cat... pun intended.

I shrugged my shoulders and walked past him.

"Nothing I didn't already know!"

Tanner didn't seem like he believed me but he dropped the topic anyways. Thank god!

It's not that I don't trust him, I do! But wolves are known for the short tempers and I didn't need Tanner shifting in front of the whole school just because a jackass like Connor has got his blood boiling. I mean try explaining that one to all the human students!

"Well I guess I should be getting to class" I mumbled once we were outside my homeroom.

Tanner nodded and gave me a slight smile before I walked into the classroom.

"Oh, Ms. Morin, how nice of you to join us!" my teacher, Mr. Reed, said sarcastically once I finally entered. "Care to explain why you're late?"

I shrugged my shoulders, "no, not really"

A few chuckles came from the back of the class.

"Excuse me?" Mr. Reed's face was so red it looked like he was going to burst.
