Chapter 5

"Dude!" Said James and Jez simultaneously as they burst through the lab door.
"Dude, they're totally together now!"

Lance looked up from his work and Dorian stayed sitting but listening intently.

"They're totally fucking in there."

"Idiot they weren't! Just because you went into shock doesn't mean they were doin' the do" said James as he leaned against a wall.

"He's right Jez, think" Lance sat on the lab table.
"Zane is too insecure to do that, and Artisa just isn't into that. They probably were only just kissing.. JUST"

"Well it sure looked like they were"

"Jez, they weren't! They were just kissing- it never looked like anything more." Noted James getting as equally annoyed by Jezreal's assumptions as Lance and Dorian, though Dorian had yet to comment on the matter.

"He's coming, you know" Dorian stated calmly.

"Well he can come in here like nothing just happened because I know Zane wa-"

"Was what Jez?" Wondered Zane who'd stepped into the room unnoticed by a stubborn Jezreal.

"W-where's Artisa?" Jez asked trying to find anything that could prove his theory.

"She's asleep in her room y-"

"Ha!" Jezreal pointed toward the others wit an ecstatic expression.

"That doesn't mean tha-"

"Shut up Lance."

"Hey, I'm locked in here, but even I know that was uncalled for bro."

"You shut up too, demon boy!"

"Hey, hey, none of this tonight, please" both James and Lance said together trying to keep the peace. Zane pushed himself from the wall laughing.

"Guys listen. Nothing more happened than what you saw." This was directed at Jezreal who made his assumption highly clear and obvious.

Jez stopped in his tracks. "Well..but you said she's asleep!" He started up in a matter-of-fact, accusing tone.
"If you didn't jus-"

"Shut up already, damn you're giving us all headaches"

"This is ridiculous" said Zane to Lance on the side as Jezreal went on at Dorian blindly. Dorian had backed away to where Zane and Lance were and joined their conversation.

"Yeah, he won't be letting up anytime soon, will he?"

"Not a chance kid" noted Dorian to Lance.
"-and hey listen, about earlier-"

"Don't sweat it bud" Lance smiled. Dorian let out a smug grin, still full of honesty.

Zane stood back up. "Alright everyone, looks like we should get dinner started-"

"I'm baackk everybody" she giggled.

"Oh damn" whispered Dorian fearfully.
"James" he whispered to him. "James can't you make this thing darker?! Hide me man, please"

James only smiled. "Sorry kid, no can do-"

"LUCENZ!" -James opened a slit in the black hole sphere to allow the girl to reach Dorian. She flew inside and he sealed it back, grinning at Dorian who had no more than two seconds to glare at him before she tackled.
"Oh Lucenz I've missed toy so much! Have you missed me? Oooh I'm so glad we can have our love once more together!" She squealed.

"Heh... Kimberly- so nice to see you" chocked Dorian as Kimberly hugged him tightly.

Kimberly went on and on about how she'd missed him. Oh how she missed him so! Her mind just didn't want to forget about him. In fact, everyone was sure that her brain actually couldn't. Dorian sat up sensing an approaching presence.
"Hey lover boy, your girl's awake"

"Haha, damn guys. Is that my new name now?" Questioned Zane, not to dorian but in general as Artisa entered and hugged him, quite oblivious to Kimberly's small body which was still attached to Dorian's.

Kim snorted. She and Artisa were on a battlefield all their own, waging wars in silent, optical flames. Artisa heard Kim's remark but stayed hugging Zane to keep the peace. Dorian, who was still on the ground under Kimberly, pushed the love-stricken girl off of him as James, Jezreal and Lance left to play videogames. Artisa buried her face into Zane's chest trying not to laugh while Kimberly sat with a shocked expression. Dorian glanced toward Zane who raised an eyebrow with a smirk. He took this as the sign to do as he wished and walked out to the trio of guys.

Artisa looked up lovingly at Zane and said, "Come on sweetie, let's go watch a movie" in a rather sickly-sweet tone to purposely annoy Kimberly, which worked out in that favor. Kim got up slowly but furiously, glaring in Artisa's direction. But as Zane led her out, Artisa sent a grimace at Kimberly who was now emitting small, electric waves from her body.
