Aphmau POV
"So what's my first mission again?" I asked my mom. Everyday she would lock herself in a room for hours at a time, only coming out for meals. She hasn't spoken in so long her voice would be very quiet when she did.
"I said you have to open the portal to the Ru'uan region and travel to the village of O'kasis. There you will find the High Priest and kill him. Without him the world will be a more peaceful place." Mother yelled. She acted as if I was deaf. I ran off to my room to start practicing opening and closing the portal.
Irene POV
I hated lying to my daughter like that but it had to be done. When the time comes for her send off, then my plan will happen. The more I think about it the better it sounds. I laughed. By now it sounded more of a cackle than anything. I just can't believe that those fools haven't noticed yet. Those arrogant fools. Soon they will learn the truth. Soon.
