Homecoming Game (A Dauren Story)

Chapter 9: View

Lauren's POV

Once we all came back searching for Dani. We ate dinner, I haven't been eating that much since Dani went missing I mean, hardly anyone could eat in the family. We would just still sit around the table praying before we eat and praying hope to find Dani. We all ate silently, none of us really finish our meal. After Dinner I went upstairs to bed. I can't help but still think about Dani. I stared at the white ceiling. I really hope Dani is okay. Then I drifted off to sleep.

Dani's POV

Everything burns. I feel hot and sweaty. I can feel all the dry tears on  my face from crying so much. Still sitting down leaning against the pole. My wrist hurts so much from the rope tied behind tight. I moved my arm up a little I felt a nail. Suddenly, I had an idea I moved up and down the nail with rope hoping that it will rip, but the rope was too thick it's gonna take hours. I started to swear more my arms hurt even more so I stopped. Why?..I closed my eyes, thinking why did this happened to me?

Lauren 's POV

My eyes were still closed, but I couldn't fall asleep. I still can't stop thinking about Dani. That's it. I'm going to go find her. I looked across the room Lisa is asleep. I got up slowly going down the bed grabbing my jacket then out of the door closing the door steady. I walked slowly downstairs then to the front door closing it quietly. I walked a few feet out the front of the house looking back. I could see this big house with all of us living here as a whole big family but now that Dani isn't here..it doesn't feel whole. I'm sorry guys if I don't make it back home, but this is for Dani I need to save her. I continued to walk down the street to the school. The school isn't that much far from here. It takes 15 mins to drive and 30 mins to walk. Hopefully time doesn't matter. I kept on walking until I made it to the school.

Finally, when I made it to the school. I walked around the school to go to the back where the bleachers are at and the football field. I sat in the middle trying to re live the moment when Dani and I came here during the homecoming game. I looked out to the football field where Lisa and I talked to the boys it was empty. I could hear the wind blowing. I got a little cold so I tried to warm myself up rubbing my arms. I leaned back a little against the bleachers. I looked out to the forest beyond the field. Something looked odd there. I remember birds flew out that area while Lisa and I were talking to the boys..I don't know if it was birds migration or birds flying any from something. I then look closely, but I can't see that much from here..I need to get a better view. I got up and went down the bleachers to the field. I continued to walk on the field towards the forest.

As an sudden my body got pushed from the back almost to the ground but I caught myself. A hand was over my mouth, I tried to scream loud, but the hand was over my mouth. The other hand was wrapping my stomach around carrying me towards the forest. I couldn't see who was carrying me I was scared, but I struggle getting out moving to let the person let go but it didn't work. Once we got close to the forest just by the opening to go before going more deep into the forest. There were bushes surrounding the forest, and the person stopped. Bringing me down with him or her. We leaned down against the bush. The person let go of me I turned around to scream but the person quickly moved upfront to me to cover my mouth and covered one of their index finger to their mouth making a hushing sound. I still couldn't see who it is but the person then put their hoodie down that was covering their face. I was surprised it was..

Oh no who is it?! Can this be a good thing or bad thing?! Comment below who you think it is! Sorry it took awhile to update again! Tbh I had a writer block again lol I laugh at my last author note saying that I know what to write..I got a little ahead there smh and because I've been busy, but don't worry I still have ideas and I know how I will end the story! Therefore, there's one more chapter before the last one! Yes you heard it! The last one. It's sad the story is ending, but I'm glad I will be able to finish it! Also I went back reading this story lol..there's so much fix I need to make which I will edit after I finish the story! But anyway thank you again for reading! Honestly I named this chapter View because of Drake's new album called Views haha go buy it's so lit! I love the album! Lol but also because the part where Lauren needed a better view of the forest! Lol.
