Chapter 3 - Krystal

"So, what can I do for you guys?" Krystal piped up.

"A quick interview would be great!" Trott chirped then elbowed their dazed cameraman in the ribs, "Oy, Ross, you're recording, right?"

"Yeah, yeah, of course," Ross blinked himself back to Earth as he mumbled, then took a glance at the tiny screen to check if the camera was still recording. Noticing the camera was off, he quickly fumbled to switch the device back on, pressing the record button, "It's recording now, Trott."

"Okay," Krystal lifted the camera in her hands, "I hope you don't mind appearing in my vlog, too, then?"

Trott waved a hand in dismissal, "Not at all! Hey, Smith, why're you so quiet all of a sudden?"

Smith looked towards Trott, slight surprise gracing his features. Quickly composing himself, he faked a cough and plastered on a grin, "Just wanted to watch your charms in the works, Trottie. Whaddya think, Krystal? Feeling attracted to this guy yet?" the taller man scooped Trott into a headlock, to which the smaller man struggled to freedom.

"Smith!"

Krystal chuckled as the brunette and ginger wrestled some before Trott was finally let go from the strong hold. Ross noticed Krystal seeming to stare at each Alex for a second too long. As if knowing he was being watched, Alex stared back at her, their expressions void from any smiles whatsoever, before they broke the tension apart.

"So, let's get started on the interview, hm?"

"Right," Trott cleared his throat then faced the camera Ross was holding, "Hey, guys! Guess who we found!" He gestured to Krystal, who waved merrily into Ross' camera while sporting a bright, open-mouthed smile. The aura around her was instantly different, but not too different to her real personality — happier and more interactive, like her YouTube persona that the trio have seen in some of her videos with her friend.

"It's Krystal of GalaxyGirlsGames!" Trott introduced her with jazz hands, his tone exaggeratingly chirpy for added humour.

"Yeah, that's right! It wasn't too hard to find her, what with her cat ears and all," Smith joined in, gesturing and pointing to the bowler-hatted girl as he stood behind her. He was easily seen, for Krystal stood nearly a head shorter than the ginger.

Then, the small group started the interview, with Trott and Ross doing majority of the asking and interacting with the girl, while Smith stood there, still within the picture. He didn't say too much during the interview unless necessary, and he tried his best to nod and use gestures at the appropriate times. Once done with the short interview, which the majority were jokes, comments and friendly banter, they ended the interview with a "good day" towards the camera said in unison, including Krystal.

Straight afterwards, Krystal started recording for her vlog, introducing each member of Hat Films whilst she kept herself in the picture then setting about with an interview. Aside from asking the usual "normal" questions, she also queried each member what they would name their planet and what it would be well-known for, as what she and her two other friends most often asked when interviewing guests for their channel. The conversation shot into a weird tangent from there, but Krystal was able to acquire good footage of Hat Films' laid-back, silly and friendly nature, as well as their tight bond, to edit into her vlog later on.

"Thanks, guys!" Krystal beamed at the trio then switched off her camera. Hanging her camera on her neck by the strap, she suggested to grab something to eat with the three.

"Yeah, sure! We were actually going to find some food to eat ourselves," Ross said.

"But then we saw you from a distance," Trott grinned toothily.
