Sofia lives with her little brother: Daniel (who is 7 years), and her mother.
Her dad used to hit them whenever he pleased or when he came home drunk. The mom worked way too hard and dealt with depression due to her husband. He never cared about their whereabouts, whether they were home or not. Just liked the idea of having power over them and making them scared of him.
Sofia took care of her mother and little brother. She didn't let her dad get in the way of her life and her happiness.
Just about 2 months ago, the dad was taken to prison because of raping a 16 year old and a 15 year old.
Their mom (Anne) was becoming a better, healthier person and Sofia was as well. She had everything she could have ever needed.
Sofia still had the marks her dad left her. They were slowly fading but in the meantime, she tried her best to cover them up.
