Three hours after abandoning Bladedancer

"I can't believe I left him. I can't believe how much of a coward I am. He said as he looked up into the night sky. As two rainwings pass over head one looks back and his at him as if she knew what he felt. After twenty minutes more of waiting he looked over his shoulder to see his brother drenched in blood. Riddled with cuts and bruises.

"Blade? What happened."

"Well, after you ran away I lost and eye. We should just get back to the rainforest, before I bleed out." Blade said. "There's a tunnel near here if we take it we could get home in ten minutes." Blade whispered as he wiped the blood that's tricking down from were his left eye was.

"There are some herbal leaves I could get you if we get back to the rainforest." Nightadapter felt the words scrape out of his throat, ashamed of his cowardice."you'll be fine Blade, you'll be fine. Everything will be fine."
After a short travel towards the tunnel, hidden under a mound of sand.

"This should lead us to the outer edge of the rainforest, the medical huts will only be a short walk ." Bladedancer said as he tripped over his own claws.
"I don't think that I'll make it. It's still a long walk to the medical huts.

"Don't say that Blade, you're gonna make it okay."

"Their are just some things you have to accept, and my death is inevitable. Just leave me here." He said as he lay down and closed his eye. The sound of the younger nightwing sobbing echoed through the nearby tunnel.
"Why are you crying."

"I thought you died!" He choked on the words as they came through

"No, I fought off two icewing scouts. If you did that you be tired too."

"Well I suppose I would be tired but, you can't just make people think you're dead.

"I was hoping you'd have been quiet."

"Can we just get back to the rainforest."

"Sure, just give me a few moments." After about a minute he stood up and began to walk through the tunnel. Ushering his brother through. "Hey would you mind telling me where you got that wristband from."

"I stole it from the treasury before the volcano erupted, I got you one as well but I dropped back on the island while we were evacuating." Night said admitting his thievery.
"I wonder if the rainwings have a hut or a hammock filled with treasure."

"It'd probably be filled with flowers or other things that they consider a necessity." Bladedancer joked.

"How's that eye hole-ding up." He said making a pun. Blade's response was to whap his brother with his tail.

"That's too far man."

"I'm sorry."

By the time they reached the end of the tunnel, Bladedancer was having trouble standing from the amount of blood loss. "Are you alright." He said concerned.

"I'm fine." His talons gave under his weight.
"Okay, I'm not fine. Go get the medical assistant."

"I have a better idea. I'll be back, okay." He ran out of the cave and drifted right, almost slipping. When he returned he was holding a mango. "Here eat this, it should act as a form of adrenaline." He said, rolling the fruit towards his brother. As he began chewing on the fruit, Night began lightly dabbing a leaf on the cuts. "How, are you feeling."
Nightadapter said, still wiping the blood from his brother's cuts.

"Strangely, I feel better. What was that."

"A mango."

"That was no regular mango. Now I'm gonna ask you again. What was that."
He can't know what I'm hiding. If he finds out he'll tell the others, they'll revolt against the queen. Nightadapter thought to himself. There isn't a way to avoid this.
